Scott from the 90's would stomp the hell out of Zod

Is Alan still vulnerable to wood? I don't know much about the character, but if Zod figured this out during their fight, I don't think there would be much of a fight left to be had.

Tough fight, I'd give the slight edge to Alan but not by much.

Alan Scott would win this relatively easily for a few reasons. More than one Green Lantern has demonstrated superior to SuperMan in terms of power. Although Zod is a greatly formidable Kryptonian who has more than once caused extreme difficulty to SuperMan, Kal-El usually gains the upper hand against him in the end. Zod and SuperMan's battles are usually very long and drawn out, but SuperMan, I believe, has a greater track record against Zod. Alan currently has greater power due to his connection with the Starheart. He is more powerful than most Green Lanterns in his current state, and top tier Green Lanterns already surpass SuperMan in power. Alan>Top Tier Green Lantern>SuperMan>Zod. That is essentially the current ranking. As such, Alan should win this without too much difficulty. He has excessively powerful energy output and constructs, as well as other abilities that would defeat Zod handily. No one is questioning Zod's power, but for all his power, he cannot stand up to Scott. Alan wins.
