he can just rip the suit off of toney. stark can't do anything to put him down. one hit from his constructs is enough. stark is not in his league.

@christianrapper: I think you might be underrating Tony and/or overrating John somewhat. IIRC, these animated versions seemed to be fairly close, I can't post videos right now but I might be able to later.

What feats does John have to suggest he can take Tony so easily?

@Leo-343: Ironman can beat John Stewart, in his Celestial Armour.

Manhunters were like fodder, and towards the end he got taken down by the lead Manhunter. The Alien pods were durable, but the legs weren't all that durable. Cutting subs and spaceships is nice, but I'm not sure it's any guarantee of him getting through Iron Man's force fields and armor.

Iron Man's taken down his fair share of giant robots and ships too. He also has force fields in addition to his armor's durability, as well as fairly impressive blast power

@arcus: Jon from JLU was not very strong or creative with his ring, while Iron man from EMH was a great fighter who could get out of most situations by thinking his way out of them.

@arcus: actually the manhunters were not fodders in blackest night part 1 they were kinda invulnerable, and the leader manhunter us pretty stronger than the rest(maybe) and it was a back/behind/syun attack and john got up seconds later to fight back but the manhunter entered the chamber and absorbed oa'n energy which john later absorbed back.

He was even framed for destroying a planet(with a blast) which he and everybody(g.ls) believed because he had the power to if he never had the power to destroy a planet he would not be on trial and the guardians and his (g.l) friends

And besides tony has no attack that can put john down, only his unibeam which will do at most 50-60%damage to the shield and i think john has tanked energy blast on that level and tony will somewhat weak after his uni-beam attack.

Iron Man, Johns feats against humans are pretty bad.

@gizmorino: John's had mixed showings in terms of force field strength iirc, sometimes his shields are strong and other times they seem to break easily.

@arcus: Thing is, he wasn't. The league took him down pretty easy. John's best feat in the show was probably being mind controlled and beating supergirl.

Beating Supergirl was a good feat, especially considering Supergirl was awesome in that episode. He also made a construct that beat on Superman for a while in training

John might have been holding back against Metamorpho since he was his friend, I don't remember if he knew though

@jackthripper: metamorpho was annoyed that he kissed his girl meanwhile it was a set-up and john was not taking it serious and metamorpho was soloing the whole league while 'that dude' was recording it planning on selling it.
