Green Arrow vs Red Arrow - Battles

The DCDatabaseproject website stated that Speedy would turn out to be a better archer, and more skilled then Green Arrow.

The thing is that Roy isn't just skilled in using bows and arrows. He took the former codename "Arsenal" for a reason. He's proficient with other weaponry. That alone gives him a major edge.

Sigh. Why couldn't they let him keep "Arsenal" it was a much better codename than "Red Arrow."

I believe he already is. If I'm not mistaken I remember once reading a panel where Ollie admitted to Hal that Roy beat him fair and square, and I'm talking about just in archery.

In the end though, it doesn't matter because Ollie is just happy to see how much Roy has grown. I love the fact that they "officially made-up" of sorts.

But still, why couldn't he stay with Arsenal. Laughs. That will be a life-long qualm for me.

Aim doesnt account for everything in a battle, reading ur opponent and evading there attacks, speed, reflexes, hand-to-hand, smarts, experience, use of environment that all ties into the battle.

So does Red Arrow have just as good accuracy as Green Arrow or not, and can he also shoot 29 arrows a minute with that accuracy? Because if he cant I cant see him winning, Ollie is a skilled Swordsman and skilled in several fighting styles. Red Arrow is a good detective and can use any item as an effective weapon. But when they have there bows I dont see the need for that. If Roy cant shoot as fast and accurate as Ollie then Green Arrow is going to win.

This is a hard one to debate. They are both extremely skilled marksmen, but RA shoots more arrows faster with good accuracy which gives him an advantage. But who knows how well the opponent is going to evade attacks? And if it does come down to Hand to Hand then Ollie does win because of his experience and more styles of fighting; but then again RA can use virtually any object as a form of weapon. Very difficult indeed...
