Green Arrow vs Mr. Freeze

The fight takes place in a Shopping Mall.

Pre-New 52 Arrow. New 52 Freeze. Standard weapons for both .

No prep time. Both start 25 ft. apart.

Standard winning conditions.

Both are in character.

I don't see why Ollie wouldn't win.

@nightcraft: Well honestly without prep I dont see how he can beat Freeze whos pretty much bullet proof and I doubt an arrow will do any better

@icecold14: New 52 Mister Freeze is sleeveless, so the whole armor thing is redundant.

Also I am not sure how tough his fish bowl is in the New 52, but pre-Flashpoint Batman has managed to destroy it with his fist alone.

New 52 Freeze's suit is too durable.

Freeze 9/10 just on the off chance that GA can somehow pull a win.

@nightcraft: Well his "fish bowl" hasnt even been broken yet in the new 52 it seems like he has a mini shield or something like that around his head that covers his helmet... also freeze can freeze a person with just a touch and has tagged the likes of Nightwing with his cryokinesis

@nightcraft: Lol I know but I didnt mean it that way my friend what I meant to say is that either Freeze will encase him in a block of ice with range or freeze him solid in close combat.... either way freeze has a big advantage here

@icecold14: Unless someone can prove me wrong here, I guarantee that Ollie has faster reflexes than Freeze. Meaning an arrow or two in his very exposed gun-holding arm before he even raises it. And wouldn't all that armor slow him down? How fast is he? Wouldn't Ollie just run faster?

@nightcraft: Freezes armor does not slow him down at all and yes GA might have faster reflexes but also Batman, Nightwing and Damian do too but they were all tagged by Freeze...

Also in the New 52 freeze has this Cold field around him that lets him feel a persons heat from a range of 50 ft away so GA will think twice about sneaking up on him

Also his arms seem to freeze anything that they come in contact with and he has also shown he can cover his arm in ice so he can do more damage when it comes to close combat and protection as well

@icecold14: No it doesn't, arrow works the same way. Ollie only has to cause a few distractions (which he will do) and then he will get him the same Roy did.

You guys are underestimating what heroes like Green Arrow are capable of. Whenever he goes up against Mr Freeze, the writer will probably give him some fire arrows when he gets into a random encounter with Freeze so he can beat Fries

Are they starting behind a cover? If so Green Arrow has a chance but if they are starting in plain sight then Mr Freeze turns him into a cube. He can pull a trigger faster than Ollie can choose and drag an arrow enough to penetrate the suit.

@lubub55: Yes if you read the entire sentance Ollie would have to select the arrow needed first and THEN pull it from his quiver to his bow and drag it backwards. That obvs takes longer time than pull a trigger

Green Arrow is so fast on the draw that after Deadshot pulls his guns on him, Ollie is able to draw, load and fire three arrows before Floyd can simply pull the trigger. Deadshot is fast enough to react to Owen Mercer and can count the individual flaps of a hummingbird's wings, which is around 50 per second.
