GoTG vs Galactus!

Alright figured this would be interesting, given the Guardians...well protect the galaxy and Galactus is...well a big threat.

I guess it depends on the incarnation of the Guardians.. but currently they get stomped.

@cable_extreme: For real?....Shoot...I just figured since these guys protect the galaxy, wiping out entire armies and so forth and having all kinds of tech it wouldn't be such...ahh well.

Galactus as destroyed several Galaxies in the Annihilation Wave story that took place with Civil War. At this point he was almost completely drained and abused as a weapon.

@bossmoss4l: Ah....well then lol didn't know this. I don't suppose giving the Guardians more prep would help?

@wolfrazer: The thing with Galactus is he's one of these characters in his own weight class. There's very few people who are actually as strong as him. Most are either substantially weaker or substantially stronger. He's defeated in comics by plot/plot devices. So.. he's not the best for battles, usually.

Galactus should win. GotG are impressive, but Galactus has done better feats while low-ly fed.
