@homicidalmaniac: Would he be able to withstand Sui Feng's Suzemebachi (kills in two touches of the "hornet's" tip)? Also, Genryusai Yamamoto's (1st Division) Ryuujin Jaka is extremely powerful, and had enough heat to scorch the sky. And Shunsui's shikai can counter energy based range attacks, like being able to reverse Coyote Starrk's Cero. Not saying the Gotei Cpts would win, since we don't even know the Avenger's roster, but just saying it won't be so easy for even Thor.

@princearagorn1: Wasn't Shunsui's shikai able to be spun together so that it created a wind force that reflected Starrk's cero? But yes, I forgot about Ukitake's ability.

@homicidalmaniac: They've worked on huge tanks in the Bleachverse, and because it is not by physical force and by a special, it might work. Then again, although Dakseid's Omega Effect is supposed to be more special force over physical and nothing can withstand it, Superman could still tank with sheer invulnerability. I don't know too much for sure if the Suzemebachi will affect Thor. If all else fails, she has her Bankai... Just kidding, if Two Steps to Death doesn't work on Thor nothing from her abilities will hurt him.

It isn't really about the durability. It's a kind of hax.
She hits you one time, a 'mark of death' appears. She hits you second time on the same spot, you die. It's generally two quick repeat strikes..

Yeah, they are never going to beat Hulk. Suzemebachi works with poison and Hulk is highly immune to poison, this weak ass poison would never work on him. Also what kinda Captains are we talking about here. Aizen is the only Captain who could fight and eventually lose against him (I am talking about his pre-hollow powers, doesn't matter though, he would lose either way).
Right now Kenpachi is the strongest captain, since we have not seen Kyouraku's bankai. And Kenpachi would get demolished.
I love bleach, it's awesome but no way are they gonna win against the Avengers, not with the big hitters there. Thor, Hulk, Captain Lamo, Lamobrand, Hyperion are all more than capable of solo'ing the gotei 13, heck I'd even say that they are powerful enough to solo the entire Seireitei.
They just don't have the offensive capability to go toe-to-toe to with these guys.

It's not direct damage. It's poison IIRC. The rules only say, "Hit" as well I believe, so it would technically still affect him even he didn't get a full cut. This means it's more about Thors poison resistance (which I think was also ridiculously high) rather than Direct durability.
