Gorr the god Butcher runs the Marvel god gauntlet!

Gorr has been given a rare opportunity to sate his desire for godly blood and death in this ultimate god gauntlet! I've been reading up on Gorr and I'm pretty impressed with his abilities. I really want to see his potential, so here we go!

Rules:

• Gorr starts at full power for each round and is able to use All-Black the Necrosword to create darkness constructs.
• Standard gear for the opponents, unless stated otherwise.
• Win by KO or death.
• No BFR.
• No outside help.

Location:

• Earth 616 and can extend into space.

6. Midgard Serpent

8. Mephisto (not technically a "god", but arguably a dark deity)

How far will the god killer, who took on 3 Thor's simultaneously, and survived a god blast from Skyfather-level Thor, get in this gauntlet? Can he clear?

Didn't Gorr take on Skyfather level Thor? I was under the impression that incarnation of Thor was on par with Odin's powerset, which would be above Pluto's.

@xlr87t3: Jokes aside I think your assessment is pretty accurate. Set and more specifically Atum would be the biggest challenge. Classic version you would think Atum would just eat him up or something but recent potryal has been very disappointing.

You mean because he's a god and all gods are technically "immortal"? Or because he's a hell lord and has a deal with Death?

@dondave: So for battle purposes, assuming being sent back to the underworld means a "death" for him, would Gorr be able to "kill" him?

I say he stops at 10..Mephisto will give Gorr a hard time but will eventually go down. Mephy cannot defeat Odin (Odin has stalemated Dormammu which has been stated to be far stronger than Mepisto - and since King Thor who is now more powerful than Odin losed to Gorr that means he should pull out a win against Mephy)

He clears, he already stomp the first elder god of the universe even when he wasnt at full power, slaved the most powerful skyfather, defeated three thors and also slaved all the pantheons of the future.

I don't see him beating Atum honestly.

@dondave: Hell lords can and have been killed. In fact Pluto was one of the hell lord Atum killed before Thor convinced him to resurrect them.

Pluto on another occasion was threatened to be killed by zeus.

Mephisto likewise was threatened to be killed by Thanos with IG and later by Scarier.

Ghost Rider also recently nearly killed Mephisto.

Most of the hell lords including Mephisto ran from there hell fearing the Archenemy was going to kill them

I know some accounts say they can't be killed there are fare few that disagrees.

that being said I am not entirely sure of Gorr has it in him to kill Hell lords. He has been said to have killed entire pantheon of God and ever pantheon has at least 1 hell Lord

@ordinaryalan: Gorr defeated an Elder God and Gods, and the Necro Swords are pretty much a plot weapon, however if Gorr absorbs then etc then he wins; otherwise I am not sure...

Is it ever stated which elder god he defeated?

@ordinaryalan: Set is more powerful than the other Elders Gods bar maybe Chthon, but not all like Demogorge showed us.

He also have better feats than Gorr, like with the Cosmic Cube and Quasar with Uni-Power and The Eye of Agamotto.

Gorr would clear this. He doesn't have the feats on his own to say this, but it is still true based on the power of the the Necrosword. It showed up again in Aarons run during "The Last Days of Midgard" arc, when Old King Thor retrieved it to fight Galactus. As soon as Galactus saw the thing he knee he was done for, and told Thor to just kill him, because he wouldn't yield. If the sight of this weapons makes Galactus give up fighting and just ask to be killed, I think Gorr could clear.
