Iron Fist was holding his own against Gorgon once upon a time in New Avengers.

But I call Bendis WIS on that one.

If it weren't for that one low end showing on Gorgon's part, I'd call it for the duo here. However, if we all want to believe Iron Fist can stall Gorgon based on that one showing (he shouldn't really be able to, but whatever, a feat is a feat) then the team will win.

The instance isn't really as clear cut as Iron Fist banging it out with Gorgon on equals terms all through his own combat capability. Gorgon was playing around/holding back. He blatantly mentioned that he was "saving himself" for Wolverine and continued to talk more trash and underestimate the prowess of his adversary("You are nothing but an obstacle to me.") Tomi has shown his penchant for playing around with Wolverine, Shang Chi, etc. The showing IMO lends itself more towards Tomi's CIS more than anything.

Depends.

If Prometheus has even standard knowledge of the team he's facing, he can practically solo.

If he doesn't, the fight might last longer, and chances are he loses.

Believe me. I know what Tomi said.

And it's just plain silly. I mean, if he were having sex with Rand I might get why he states he's holding back to save himself for Logan ... but ... yeah.

And all that happened seconds before he gets K.O'd by DD. Making whatever he said meaningless regardless. See my point?

If Bendis had any sense, he would have had Daredevil play the avoidance game with Gorgon, while Iron Fist flew in with, well, his "Iron Fist" for the K.O.

That would have been perfect as the strengths of both DD and Rand would have been perfectly utilized making their victory more palatable.

Y'see, doesn't take genius to think through scenarios a little bit and tweak so that they make sense. Bendis dropped the ball on that one.
