It's not an Anime Character vs Comic Character battle. It's an Anime Ability vs Comic Ability. They're not the same thing, no matter how someone might twist it.

Laudable attempt at being clever, but there's a blanket ban on anything anime vs anything comics on the battle forum. It may not explicitly state "anime abilities vs comic abilities" aren't allowed, but that's the spirit of the rule. This is going to get locked.

1. Which ability do you think is more effective and why? The Omega Beams obviously as it doesn't take 5 minutes to charge up and it's far more versatile.

2. Which ability would you rather have and why? Omega Beams for reasons above

3. Can either ability cancel out or counter in terms of raw power? Well its not really cancelling out but the Omega Beams can just phase threw it.

The Spirit Bomb is, if I remember correctly, very damaging on a bigger scale, but it isn't as manageable as the Omega Beam is. That and the Spirit Bomb takes time to charge, though it becomes much more powerful with the more time put into it. But still, the Omega beams don't have that problem.

Giving it to the Omega beam for no.1.

I think I would rather have the Spirit Bomb still though. Don't know why, but I can't see myself using the Omega Beams at all.

And I'm not sure about the last one.

1 and 2 the beams. They are more practical and in day to day terms can destroy pretty much anything.

3 the bomb. It is more powerful but it takes ages to prepare.
