Goku vs Godzilla

Rules:

No Dragonballs

No destroying the planet JUST NO

Full power Godzilla

Logical arguments only

The fight starts here and can go anywhere on Earth but not to other planets

Interesting match. Goku should win if he concentrates his ki and inflicts the force of what has been harnessed towards Godzilla, Dragon Fist being a good example but the only problem is that Godzilla has an insane healing factor, also his durability is really good. So Goku is going to have a problem, eventually he will tire out and would be left defenseless as Godzilla vaporizes him with his Atomic Breath.

Goku has power enough to destroy planets. Even if he's not strong enough, he can just transform until he is.

He's not saying Goku will blow up the planet, he's saying Goku has the sheer power to pull something like that off, thus he should be able to beat Godzilla.

At least I think that's the argument.

@Racob7: I've dealt with the same argument and I too find it annoying honestly. Personally not sure who wins here because I haven't really watched DBZ or Godzilla in forever.

Goku

Goku clearly has the power to defeat Godzilla. Goku doesn't destroy planets because he doesn't need to, but he still actually possesses the power to do so.

Here's my logical argument:

Goku has literally millions of times more power than the power required to wipe out a planet. Goku also has the speed advantage by a factor I'm not even sure off (half due to the maths behind it, the other half due to inconsistencies).

Can anyone provide an argument showing Godzilla having a reasonable chance to win, other than having Goku stand still and wait to die?

I'll use some comic vine abc logic. In a Godzilla vs Captain Marvel or Black Adam battle, Godzilla lost. And the main argument was, shortly: He fast enough to dodge Godzilla's attacks and strong enough to make Godzilla feel his punches.

This is the same, only Goku can use faster and stronger distance attacks than Godzilla.

He destroys a dimension in GT. I don't know if you consider that canon, since everyone seems to have their own definitions of canon.

Goku has not destroyed a planet or a galaxy. He has easily beaten people that have destroyed planets with only a fraction of his ki. And well, in dbz, ki is ki. It's not like people use special exclusive techniques to destroy planets, they just chuck a big enough ball of ki at it and it goes kablooey. It's not rocket surgery to figure out Goku could do the same thing if he was in to genocide.

I'm not gonna touch the galaxy busting argument with a 50 foot pole. People have heard all the arguments a million times and people on both sides just end up really butthurt. In fact, I'm gonna avoid DBZ threads for the most part until after March 30th.

Goku ITs Gzilla into the sun. Or dead space.

the winner is DESTROYAH! Just kidding, Goku. Godzilla is not nearly fast enough,strong enough or durable enough to kick Goku's ass. A more interesting match-up would be Hildergarn vs Godzilla

Goku should win here. Goku is faster and stronger. But he can tire out and thus must be careful. He will have to really think on his feet here. Goku can not mess around and must take godzilla serious. Goku can do it and it will take a lot out of him.

After he realizes he's dealing with an immortal monster that can regenerate from almost anything and survive a black hole without injury he'll probably want as much power as he can get.

This, and Goky stupid giant dialogues won't work on Godzilla lol. Don't forget kamehameha would take 10 episodes to charge.

People over estimate Goku... Due to the healing factor of Godzilla, he will heal any attack almost instantly, and Goku doesn't have infinite firepower, Godzilla will be striking Goku over and over, and even though Goku will land more hits, they will all be healed almost instantly, and kamehameha isn't going to be enough, and Dragon Fist won't work since it takes to long to bust through someones body, and Godzilla will be instantly healing that as well. You need some serious fire power to take on Godzilla, like Superman with hes IMP. IMP releases 10 octillio megatons of force, so that should be more than enough to kill Godzilla before he heals, but Goku against this beat is a mismatch. Hes called GOD-zilla for a reason... Not just to get punked by a little super sayain...

@comicace3: Dragon Fist won't take out Godzilla... Gokus dead.

Remember... Godzilla is called GOD-zilla for a reason... In fact ignore my last post, Godzilla would have an extremely good chance of winning against Death Battle superman, possibly a 50-50.

Goku stomps without even going super saiyan. Mismatch.
