Goku vs Captain Atom (3 versions covered)

In case you want to know why I didn't specify what level Goku is at, I say from my experience, it isn't an effective limitation.

Scenario 1: New-52 Captain Atom

Scenario 2: Pre-52 Captain Atom

Scenario 3: Monarch

Rules:

- No BFR

- No prep

- Moral off

- Fight takes place in outer space

- Death or KO

CA all rounds.

New-52 would beat Goku eventually.

The rest probably the same for reasons.

Captain Atom wins all 3 rounds, easily.

For those that have a problem understanding why this is, let me put it in simple terms: Goku is pretty powerful guy, whose power is completely reliant on Energy. Captain Atom is an insanely powerful guy, whose main power, is the ability to manipulate(and absorb) any kind of energy, with no known limits.

Anything that Goku throws at him, Cap. Atom can easily redirect.

Captain Atom is also a high level Matter Manipulator, who could simply dissolve Goku(take him apart on a sub-atomic level) with a single thought. Goku has absolutely no defense against Captain Atom's powers, while Captain Atom's main power, is pretty much a perfect defense against Goku's powers.

CA can control physical energies, however KI is more spiritual energy rather than actual physical, so I doubt he could actually control KI the same way he control actual matter.

Yes there is, there is Physical energy and Spiritual energy, and CA can NOT control Spiritual Energy, Spiritual energies are far more powerful. Goku stomps.

There is a huge difference between Physical and spiritual energy, Physical energy being e.g Solar energy and Spiritual being like more abstract energy, and CA can not control that, Goku stomps.

Well if the Androids could absorb ki and they were machines, why Captain Atom who has manipulated many more forms of energy,even magical,can't?

Even if he couldn't,he can still vaporize Goku,that's why he is called Captain Atom,you know,he controls atoms.

I think we have to look at it another way. If they where purely spiritual they would have no effect on a physical body or the surrounding countryside instead it would be an attack that attacks the spirit or soul and Captain Atom would most likely have no effect over a purely supernatural attack but like the fire of a wizards fire spell despite it's supernatural origin like the KI blasts they have become a form of energy that he can manipulate.

I find it amusing, that none of the people arguing for Goku, have even tried to counter the point that Captain Atom(in all 3 rounds) can simply dissolve Goku, effectively ripping him apart on a sub-atomic level, with a single thought.

Even if Captain Atom wasn't a high-level Energy Manipulator, that fact alone would be enough to win the match.
