Out of nowhere, Lantern Rings suddenly breach the Dragon Ball realm and plant themselves onto the hands of these fierce combatants. Goku receives Willpower, Hope, Compassion and Love, while Broly is given Rage, Fear, Avarice and Death. Of course, they are equipped with knowledge of the Rings' use. They are in Super Saiyan form; Goku is already powered up by Trunks, Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo, and Broly is Legendary. They are located on an uninhabited planet in the North Galaxy and it is night time.
I give this to Goku, his Will Hope Compassion and Love are just off the roof. Its basicly what already powers him up during the whole show, without the rings. With them its just overkill.
Although the Red Lantern Ring would probably power up a lot under Broly
I'll still go with Goku. He has more than one lantern ring and a green lantern ring, so he can hurt a black lantern like Broly. Also, his will and hope are just off the charts, anyone that as seen DB, DBZ or DB GT knowns this. So I stick with Goku. Although it would be close (like a good DB fight)
Which version of Goku are we using because the latest version of Goku is orders of magnitued more powerful than Brolly, and since both are given rings i dont see how Broly could win.

I think Broly is the angriest character in all of DBZ, and that's saying something since most of the characters in the show have a moment where they scream for a few minutes. Broly's not really all that greedy though...still RL Broly wins it.

I still dont understand how does that tell you which version of Goku it is. Goku was super saiyan when he fought Broly and goku was also only super saiyan when he fought General Rilldo, who is many many many times more powerful than Broly himself.
also what would matter is what versions of Trunks, Vegeta, gohan and Piccolo are being used, because the more powerful incarnation of them would mean more powers to goku.
I just noticed Goku got amped up by Trunks Vegeta and gohan? piccollo doesnt even matter, Goku has this, absolutly
To note, Piccolo's enhancements are very important. Without Piccolo, Goku wouldn't have had the exact power output to take Broly down in the movie (movie 8, by the way). Despite that, Vegeta's power was most needed, Goku was very adamant about having it.
@The_Mayhem_Theory: I know, I just said that in this case, it reall wont make much of a difference, if it's the most recent Goku version. He would just kick ass with these rings. Piccolo is pretty powerful tough

The more and more we bring attention to it, the more and more it becomes reality. To you it might be Anime vs Comics, but that is not how the battle was written. In theory, it is Anime versus Anime, Comics versus Comics, with a twist of Anime using Comics versus Anime using Comics. >_>
