They would have won much easier, Saibamen aren't too bright.

Saibaman wins this. Ironically, due to its lesser intelligence then Raditz, it won't play around with its food. Not to mention, it lacks the same inherent weaknesses as Raditz as well as the prescense of Gohan.

Saibaman is weaker than raditz and dumber

Saibamen has 1200 power (as Raditz). Raditz would probably win to a Saibamen but this is a different fight. Raditz was spent playing with Piccolo and Goku but the saibaman wouldn't toy with them. Also, the Saibamen's acid could come in handy considering it scared Tien. The Saibaman also won't have to worry about Gohan or a weak-point to be grabbed by.

If Raditz actually took Goku and Piccolo seriously, the series would have ended right then and there and the Saibamen are only a little weaker than him.

Saibaman, way too fast and it won't toy with them.

It's still a tough call, as you said the Saibamen don't have any exploitable weaknesses as opposed to Raditz' tail - so it'd be a lot more difficult for Piccolo to charge up a significant Special Beam Cannon and even if he did, getting a solid hit in on the Saibamen would be hell. However, they are somewhat seemingly less intelligent and not as good of a skilled fighter like Raditz was, so if Goku & Piccolo do manage to pull it off - it should be because of that, and barely.

I wouldn't say Raditz was playing around, I'd say he fought like a half-decent martial artist, countering and using basic tactics instead of charging randomly. Just because he was having fun doesn't mean he wasn't trying to kill them.

Skill is also a factor, Raditz used several impressive maneuvers and techniques against Goku and Piccolo. Like when they got behind him, he jumped into the air and delivered a boot to each of them simultaneously. A Saibaman wouldn't be able to do that, and might get caught by surprise.

I say Goku and Piccolo wouldn't even need the Special Beam Cannon, Goku's Super Kamehameha would probably wipe the Saibaman out since it wouldn't be able to block it in time like Raditz did. If it survives that, then it'll be so weak that Piccolo on his own can whoop it.

@lukas12: the OP didn't say one saibamen, he said a saibamen on which accounts anyone can add more.

Depends on what order it was given.Based on what Raditz did,a Saibaman wont do anything useful besides destroying the area around it though that's the only it can do right?

Maybe Goku will give it the order to get out and maybe it will? Saibaman are only good at following orders and Goku is one of the saiyans, right?

Saibaman; like said above he's not toying around and he's too fast to be caught by the Full Nelson. Arguably the only reason Yamcha lost to one was because he wasn't serious so Yamcha after training > Goku and Piccolo BoZ.

A Saibaman doesn't have a tail to grab, this Saibaman in particular doesn't have to worry about getting sucker punched by a 4 year old. Unless someone gets lucky and it only decides to self destruct on one of them, it wins.
