Both bloodlusted
Takes place in an indestructible planet
No BFR
Random encounter

Sentry is stable but does not have the death seed
Strongest version of Godzilla
Final Wars Godzilla is no joke (I think it is the strongest version) but I will wait until more godzilla-experienced people come.

Again, I didn't get your notification. Thanks. Sentry.
Sentry tosses this thing into the sun
Serious question: Would the sun actually kill him? I'm not saying Sentry can't beat him, it's just that this is something that really has me thinking right now.
@classymerc: The sun wouldn't only kill Godzilla, but it would make sure there isn't a single atom left of him.
@heirtothekingdom: But doesn't the sun radiate with many different forms of radiation, all of which Godzilla is capable of absorbing to stay alive? I mean the temperature of the sun is a little over 5,000 k and Godzilla's heat ray can burn up to 15 million degrees Fahrenheit. This at least x100 was shot back at him multiple times and did nothing.
Though I'm probably forgetting something about the sun. Astronomy is not my strong suit.
@icecold14: Make this no-BFR or it will be like, an eternal battle. Also not planet destruction :P These two can't be put down under normal circunstancies, so for validating the KO, we must assure that they stay in the battlefield.
@icecold14: Apollo says "door" and Godzilla burns into the Sun !!!!
WAIT ! WAIT ! THIS ARGUMENT IS INVALID !!!
Sentry tosses this thing into the sun
was gonna say this lel
@realitywarper: LOL @sophia89: Really? :o
@sophia89: Oh, right. I forgot that the surface is a little over 5,000 k; whereas, the core is like 27 million degrees Fahrenheit. My question still stands though.
@classymerc: I believe that is the heat the sun gives off in close proximity (and it should even be hotter), the actual sun is much much hotter than that.
@heirtothekingdom: Oh, okay.
@gojira2014 I summon you forth!
@itsomething: That sounded so wrong lol
The Sentry doesn't even need to fight Godzilla. His calming aura will settle down the beast just like it did with the Hulk. Sentry for the win.
@itsomething: LOL LOL

IMO IDW Comics Godzilla and Marvel Godzilla can be seen on par if not better.

Plus you have the insane gravity, 28x that of Earth at the surface alone, this would flatten the thing, it would die from that alone
And I think Godzilla has an upper limit of how much he could absorb, he wouldn't be able to absorb it all, this simply isn't possible/shown by feats
Well now without BFR and planet destruction the fight seems more fairer, I really want to know if godzilla's blasts are enough to hurt Sentry.
Sentry tosses this thing into the sun
The OP says no BFR.
Sentry wins.
Godzilla might not even be able to tag Sentry due to his size. I am not saying that every big person is slow but Godzilla happens to be one that is slow. Godzilla might have a better chance to win against someone in his tier, which Sentry is not.
Sentry wins 8.5/10.
Stalemate: With no BFR they probably won't hurt each other.
Heisei Godzilla G cells tanked a back hole while being bombarded by Exploding suns.
He also tanked Crystals That formed inside a Black hole from Space Godzilla, they did not even scratch him.
Godzilla also killed Space G via one Spiral Ray.
@comiking24 G has tagged super sonic aircrafts with heat beam and claws with out problems, he not as slow as you think.
@comiking24: G has tagged Super Sonic Planes with ease. He not as slow as people make him to be.
@bullettimer: Godzilla has survive from extreme pressures though. IIRC he fought and easily manhandled, Larva Battra at the very bottom of the ocean. In fact, he repeatedly slammed Battra into the ocean floor so hard that he caused a massive fissure to open up and swallow them both. He then swam through lava canals until he reached the top of Mt. Fuji.
But maybe I'm underestimating 28x our gravity? Though to be honest, I thought it would be more then that.

Just joking, he beats it to death or something

Nah, that's surprisingly all it is.
Though you raise a good point... I'm not actually sure here, though I imagine atm of 1000x the norm is a greater force than 28x Earth's gravity... hmm.
