Godzilla 1998 seems to be faster but has shorter arms and no feats. (She gets 50 of her kids)

Godzilla 2014 is massive and has big arms.

Cloverfield Monster can create those bugs.

Answer 2 questions:

1) Who wins in a straight up fight?

2) Who causes more destruction and human deaths.

They took the world's most iconic movie monster and turned him into a box-headed, chicken-legged, no atomic breath-having, flat- nosed piece of $#!! Godzilla 2014 FTW!!!!!!!

Zilla runs away. G2014 crushes clover pretty easily unless the mother is involved than I don't know.

I grew up in the 70's before cable television, having to stay up to the wee hours of the night, hoping that the main monster movie feature was the King Of The Monsters, Godzilla! I stood behind the King even when everyone else was jumping on the Big Ape bandwagon and debate as to who actually won that fight. Well who has survived the test of time.... the King!

2014 Godzilla is my absolute favorite big screen monster/storyline.

And I really like what IDW comics is doing with the title since 2011, GREAT STUFF!!!

Spite. One sided. Legendary Gz will kill them with no effort at all. He can survive in 120 million fahrenheit without any trouble(while his eyes and mouth open). He survived a Meteor that is equal to 500 Billion nukes without much trouble. He has a weak spot. His gills. But something on Fem Mutos strenght can barely make Gz bleed even by hitting his gills. And Mutos are immensely powerfull to. They also survived that explosion too in comic.

@pyro_raptor: Why did you bump this ? Even if there is mother of Clover Godzilla will win without any difficulty.

1998 Godzilla is dead as soon as the fight starts. We don't know anything about the Cloverfield monster outside of it's durability, but I doubt it's taking out 2014 Godzilla.

@pyro_raptor: Size doesn't matter. Godzilla have like a hundred billion+ times of Clovers durability. And can kill something with this durability.

Also, Clover's mother is a complete unknown. We have no idea what she looks like or even how large she is. How do you know that species even grows exponentially larger as it develops? It could very well have been born as a full adult. Or it could shed it's skin a couple times and only grow by a few dozen feet. Shoot, it's possible the species gets SMALLER as it ages. Getting bigger as you mature isn't even a concrete rule on Earth, and you want to apply it to an alien species we know nothing about?

We were never told how large the adult verson would be to the best of my knowledge. Even if we did Clover wouldn't have the feats necessary to say it could harm Godzilla or survive Godzilla's atomic breath. Godzilla survived nukes. Going by the tie in comic the nukes didn't even phase him. That's pretty substantial defenses even for a monster his size.

@metaljimmor: so did Neville Page(concept designer), Matt Reeves(director) &/or J.J Abrams ever mentioned the size of the adult b4?

Gz has near planetary durability. And his breath killed muto which also has near planetary durability(they survived meteor). Godzillas breath will instantly kill clover.

And godzillas best feat isn't nuke feat. His best feat is meteor feat. That meteor has 10 sextillion tons of force. It is 1 billion times more powerful that Castle bravo. And GZ tanked it without any damage. Clover is killet by big bombs. Zilla is killed by 6 small missles.

Godzilla is 350 ft

The Female Muto was 301 ft, and Godzilla was manhandling her one on one.

Zilla is a none factor in this, he's too small to do any damage.

We don't. Just like we don't know if it gets bigger as it gets older. There is NO information about the adult Cloverfield Monster to say how large it was, much less how physically powerful or durable it might be.

Godzilla takes this relatively easy.
