Ah so that's your ploy? Well lots of religious members will consider this a curbstomp and not even post. Even non religious members might have the same response. You might want to get someone closer to God's level. Someone with the Infinity Gauntlet or beyond Galactus and Anti-Monitor levels. But even that might not be enough to draw anyone into that conversation.

In the comic universe in both marvel and dc, there is a one all powerfull being, which is basically based off god in one way or another, and they would probably beat superman easily so i assume the real god could whether you believ in a god or not(because as strange doctor said superman doesnt exist, and at least some people believe in god, god wins out)

Hey, the God being used in this battle WAS killed by a lesser being. Is Superman on the same level as The Saint of Killers? Plus, Krypton might not even be part of his creation. Preacher makes it seem like there are no superheroes in the world, and I think God would have used them against Genesis if they existed in there.

The God in Vertigo is different from the God (The Presence) in DC.

The fight goes like this. In a real fight superman loses horribly. On the vine though since he is overrated and all people will say superman blitz god and he wins.

I know. As superman falls outside his sphere of influence, I think he has a chance (however remote). God was slain by his own creation in Preacher. He fled Heaven and abandoned the Earth. He failed to kill Jesse/Genesis. He's not so tough. Hell, Saint of Killers killed him AND the Devil.

I'll use Logic, basically since god cant lay his deeds on earth, he cant hurt Superman, but unfortunately that also means supes cant hurt God... BUT, if Superman goes around and becomes a Satanic, does all the god defying things, breaks all of the Seven sins, and curses at god, he didnt hurt god Physically but put his name in the dirt, something which God cant counter in any way.

Superman Hands down.
