Giygas vs The Great Intelligence

Abstract threat vs Abstract threat. Which on is greater? Giygas is from Eathbound and the Great Intelligence is from Doctor Who.

Yog-Sothoth from Dr Who isn't even remotely as powerful as his Cthulhu Mythos counter-part.

I really, really wish they utilized the Great Intelligence more. He had so much potential as a great villain, but he just... eh.

What can Giygas do? And is GI in character, or out of character? Because in character he doesn't do much, none of the Elder Gods/Old Ones do, because they play games with reality without ever using their innate abilities.

Hopefully they'll bring him/it/her/them back

I hope so. Hopefully, he'll play a major role in the 50th Anniversary Special.
