Ghost Rider vs The Rogues

Since Flash vs Ghost Rider is supposedly a stalemate (please don't debate this here :3), I'd like to see how ol' Johnnyboy does against the Flash's villains.

Rules:

• Round 1 - In-character, standard gear, win by any means, random encounter.
• Round 2 - Bloodlusted, standard gear, no BFR, random encounter but the opponents have basic knowledge of each other.
• Rogues are Pre-52.

Location:

• The Candy Kingdom
• Starting distance for both rounds - 50 feet.
• Civilians are present, however, the Princess is away and all guards and military are also absent.

Oh, and I forgot to mention in the OP, GR is limited to one use of the Penanse Stare in each round.

Can captain cold incapacitate ghost rider? Aside from that he probably takes this.

@jashro44: Probably, but if Cold freezes GR I suppose Johnny could pop the Penance Stare at the last second and kill him.

The Rogues have too many sins

I don't believe Captain Cold's abilities will ultimately overpower the Ghost Rider's fire production. Plus the Ghost Rider is a solid 20-40 ton character as Johnny Blaze, and 100+ as Zarathos. So that's something they have to overcome.

If Zarathos takes control, it's over.

@stormdriven: lol I even considered adding Inertia. Initially I thought people would claim that Mirror Master would be too much for him, then I brushed up on some of his more versatile abilities and decided that he should have a shot here if not a win.

@fatherchaos: I thought Mirror Master or Captain Cold would tip the scale, but it seems not hahaha

I don't know much about GR but generally people mention his PS as his end-all/be-all move and considering the Rogues DO have plenty of sins under their belts I bet it'd be pretty effective.

However I don't know GR's durability - I feel like some of the Rouges [ MM & CC ] could bring him down though it would cost them some of their team mates.

hmm the rouges tend to stay away from violent crime, but they've done enough that the stare would definitely effect them, trickster's pretty crazy, but not as much as deadpool so it wouldnt turn gr back to johnny,

while captain cold is the master of absolute zero, i dont know if that will effect hellfire,

his biggest problem might be mirror master since supposedly the penance stare can be reflected and affect ghost rider(i read this online, don't know if its true)

in all likeliness, Ghost Rider wins without too much difficulty

@thetruebarryallen: GR has insanely good durability, he's practically immune to physical harm because of his healing factor

I feel like in R1 the Rogues would win via BFR after watching one of the lesser powerful Rogus such as Trickster or Captain Boomerang get killed by GR.

In R2 it's truly anyone's game. I don't know what a bloodlusted GR is capable of O.O

@highaccuser: I recall that won't effect him.Ghost Rider can't really be BFR by MM either.Bloodlust Rider is Zarathos and he will stomp the Rogues with zero problems.

@thetruebarryallen: GR cant be BFR'd hed come right back. Also for his durability his entire skull was crushed and he healed from it like it was nothing. I say GR takes it

With a Mirror Master BFR he can then shatter the Mirror & kill anything & everything inside of it.

I think that'd count for a victory against GR.

MM is there ace in the hole seeing as no one else could significantly hurt him. I see Rogues winning via bfr but other than that GR takes it

@thetruebarryallen: Yeah I'd figure the Mirror Smash would be the only way they can beat the Rider, unless CC manages to completely freeze his entire body over and over multiple times until he's built a glacier on top of him. Though Rider can travel through dimensions as shown in the respect thread Grey just linked, and that bike is hella fast.

Alright - I think I'd give R1 to the Rogues with a VERY slim majority.

R2 totally goes to GR though.

MMmhmm - Cold would truly only slow GR down.

I think GR has Round 2 in the bag but the Rouges can win a slim majority of R1 via Mirror Smash.

Kinda how I see it.

Ghost Rider poops on their dead bodies.

Ghost Rider is immune to Transmutation, and Reality Warping on a scale as well.

Anyway he wins, and rather easy.

If you BFR Blaze, he can always use hell as a way point.

With BFR allowed, Rogues win handily.
