Where has it been shown that Prime is immune to magic? He doesn't have the same weakness to it that Superman does (hence why Black Adam's lightning felt like regular lightning to him and only tickled) but I've never seen him shrug off powerful magic. Hellfire and the penance stare should hurt him just fine.

johnny is one of the most powerful ghost riders out there and even when dan was nearing full power he struggled 2 beat johnny, the others ghost rider's he beat where not as powerful as johnny that is why he went after them first so no they are not as powerful as johnny.
Ghost Rider would eventually beat superman prime, from what i read superman prime doesnt use magic, and since the only thing that hurts GR is magic meant for dead souls and dont get me started on what the Penance Stare would do to him

Prime...Ghost Rider has nothing that can harm him...he may not be able to kill him but he can be knocked out...Daniel Ketch was knocked of Ghost Rider form during the Midnight Sons storyline...Blaze wont survive getting hit by Prime

Hellfire has magical properties to it, so yeah he would probably be immune to it. Superboy Prime wins this with heat vision or what have you. He probably read about GR in the comic book store. ( Sarcasm.)
I'm going to say this could go ethier way. I mean the Danny GR was the more powerful Ghost Rider before Blaze came back, he fought many powerful demons,like Mephisto,lilith,etc. And also he has all the Gr powers.
