Indeed it was PIS - and said PIS would be present here. His eyes are covered (yes, lame. I know).
Now hold on. First, Strange is pretty weak lately. Hulk beat him! Yes, I know it was WWH, but still a horrible showing (and Surfer, at his very weakest and only in physical combat, beat Planet Hulk).
Also, what crime did Surfer commit that would make him susceptible to the Penance Stare?
Obviously Silver Surfer felt a great deal of guilt over his duties as herald, or else he wouldn't have done things like look for uninhabited planets or turn on Galactus. For his hand in the deaths of so many innocents, the penance stare would destroy him. Ghost Rider's survived things like dismemberment by simply reconstituting himself. He's a bit beyond cosmic. He's the judgement of God. Ghost Rider wins.

Galactus might not be evil, but he has commited a lot of 'bad' sins. The Stare wouldn't work on Galactus because Galactus is more powerful than Mephisto and his entire realm.

I think he ment Galactus is sort of an odd abstract because he's a living being but is a representation of equality.

Interesting thread. I believe Ghostrider can take this because of his penance stare ability. Surfer is a guilt ridden hero who has taken innocent lives and would be susceptible to it.
Sometimes they're much better then anything in the comics, because the comics are changing every half a year dramaticlly. If Loeb wants to stop Galactus, he simply gives his Rulk matter manipulation and there you have it. You have to take it as a fact! One-shots, especially if non-canons > On-goings !!!
Well then...under that logic, should we just forget everything we've reed an seen in "canon" story line and just use any retarded story arc we wish...to help us prove a point in these battle thread then?? no. your excuse is not valid and against the vine's rules...that cartoon is non-canon and its contents can not be use to prove your point. no matter how you see it.
