It isn't that he is overtly vulnerable to it as much as it is that he has no more defense against then a regular Joe. So yes of a sort. A being that has more powers and whose very existence and essence are mystical by nature wielding a weapon composed of a mystical metal that has further mystic enchantments to boot...spells bad news for Supes.

Thor rarely ever uses those powers or indeed most aspects of his versatility, and he is notoriously slow or reluctant to use any kind of enhanced speed when it comes to combat. Plus Superman's speed feats are better than Thor's, he can blitz him to heck out of character.

@grevous11: Thor has earthen powers that Bill does not share. Bill has resistances among other things due to being built as a savior to his race that Thor does not share as well. Official stats don't lie.

There is no plot to adhere to in these bouts. Perhaps he could though clearly I disagree and doubt it would succeed.

May carry a negative connotation because during the events of the Second World War Hitler deemed the the Aryan people were the perfect race to rule the world (something along those lines, I don't feel like getting into it), even though Hitler himself wasn't from the specific race.

This is not Thor vs. Superman. Beta Ray Bill does not hold back, and is much much faster than Thor. And Zod lacks Superman's morality to hold back, though Superman seems to have much greater control over his powers.

I'd say Beta Ray Bill, he's proven that he can handle enormous amounts of speed, plus he can absorb energy attacks, and heat revitalizes him. Over and above this he wields a magic hammer and commands magical lightning, and has much greater verastility.
