A battle to the death: Zod and a fully enraged Doomsday against Darkseid and Superman, the battle taking place in a ruined fortress of solitude. Superman can't receive any help or guidance from Jor El and Zod is past the stage of no return after escaping from the Phantom Zone.

He did but Doomsday isn't as strong as he was then and Darkseid can put people through time and being placed at the end will kill him.

Depends on the version of Doomsday but if its the strongest version, then he solos.
