Pretty sure Gambit wins here. His firepower is much more than Grevious is used to deflecting and one body shot and Grevious goes down. And I think Gambit may be faster. But my knowledge of Grevious is limited to the movies.
@masterkungfu: I agree here, and I think Gambit will be able to keep that distance.
@oceanmaster21: Starting distance?
@oceanmaster21: Thanks.
At 10FT I don't think their close enough for Grevious to close the distance before Gambit backs up some and unloads explosive power on him. Gambit for majority.
@speedster101: interesting
@speedster101: Lmao
Grievous is hypersonic, he literally blitzes gambit faster than he can think.
Even if this is canon Grievous, we're talking about a guy who literally shrugged off being inside a starship as the explosives rigged to it went off. If he can take that, he can take a card or two on the way in.

Grevious is made of metal.
Gambit charges metal up and makes it explode.
Ergo, Grevious explodes
@comicstooge: I don't know if you're joking.

Am I?

Are you?
Has gambit ever charged metal as heat-resistant as duranium?

Cap's shield? Granted, it didn't do anything, but still.
@comicstooge: I guess it depends on the mechanics of how his charging works. Can he blow up anything he wants up by pouring explosive energy through the molecules of the object or what?
@comicstooge: Even if Gambit could charge Grievous's metal (my bet is he could), he'd still have to get by a fury of four lightsabers that can move 20 times per second. That, I don't see happening.
Does Grievous get Clone Wars feats and whatnot? If he does then this is a very cloe fight, but i'd lean towards Gambit, mostly due to his firepower. If Gambit keeps his distance and just bombards Grievous with explodey cards, he can win, but if not, and the General gets close enough with his lightsabers, then it's the other way around. Grievous has four blades, but Gambit has a ton of cards, so it kinda evens out. If it's just film Grievous then Gambit wins handily.
We need to know what version of Grievous this is. Even then, TCW Grievous has shrugged off being inside a starship as it exploded, having a propane tank explode on him, as well as several shots from the laser cannons of a republic gunship. Gambit would need to unleash his absolute best in order to stop Grievous, and I'm not seeing that happen before the distance is closed.
@eisenfauste: Hypersonic? In expanded universe or somehing?
@speedster101: Legends wise yes. I think canon also, at least with his fights against Obi-Wan but I can't be too sure

Grievous tanks one card bomb then slices Gambit up. I like this fight and it could be made into a closer fight for the purposes of a movie/story but out side of entertainment Grievous takes this.
If this is grievous from the animated series before he gets injured by mace...then gambit may be in for some trouble...he easily went through mid level jedi's to their padawans...he was fast, capable,strategic, use scare tactics, agility, deadly accurate, great jedi saber swordsman, robotic strength,...I'm leaning toward him for the majority...but gambit can pull his share of wins as well...epecially if he can get his kinetic energy attacks off then its a done deal...i really on the fence on this one...
