Agree, Kurse would need some matter manipulation or omnidirectional blasts.Stalemate, Kurse is much too strong, but Eiling is nearly impossible to put down.

As compared to Eiling, who can't be defeated by anything?
I guess its a stalemate then.
It was effective, General just healed. I belive that he beam would cover his whole body, Elling will be dead.Orion already tried the Astro Force. It's not very effective.
I'm not going on belief here. The Shaggyman was built to last. Instant regeneration from even the tactical nuke bullet. They didn't even show how badly he was messed up, but he's still regenerating.

Kurse was defeated by the gem of infinite suns and also when fighting some trolls during Loki's attack on Asgard ( poor writing, probably, but still happened).
Kurse, wasn't defeated, Thor only released him from Malekith's spell there.
I am not sure about second thing. When did it happen? In Ragnarok story?

The second one is indeed poor writing, if it actually happened. Scans?

Yes. He was defending Asgardians I believe.
I found that. We only see Kurse head/helmet on the snow without any explanation about his death. But since in whole fight Loki was involved, as a new king of Asgrad, I wouldn't bring it as an evidence of Kurse's weakness to anything. This version of Loki later was able to drain energy from Mangog and had his its own powerfull hammer.@czarny_samael666 said:

I hope that these two answers was helpfull and that they clear everything about Kurse's "loses".

He was defending innocents. What other explanation do you need ?
Pretty sure Kurse was KTFO after that pis gem. At least I don't remember him being active after that
1.What does it matter? We don't know how he was taken out. And it highly matters here, since Loki probably was involved.@czarny_samael666 said:

2.Kurse was KOd. In one of another panels he is standing in line with BRB, Sif and other Gods. He never wanted to attack them, Malekith's spell turn him against them.
@termiteone4ever: Even with BFR it would still be the same...
