Gawl is a young man from the future, born as a biological weapon as part of the "evolution" of mankind to become Generators. Gawl went back in time with his friends to destroy the research into the Generators and eliminate them before the world is destroyed in an all-consuming war caused by the Generator armies. Of course their enemies had the same idea. Except they'd eliminate Gawl and his companions and accelerate the process.
It only takes Gawl a fraction of a second to go from his normal form to his Generator state, which increases his speed, strength, agility and durability many times. And even in human state he could leap over 15ft in the air without effort. When pushing his Generation Output he can recover from wounds rapidly and increase his strength.
Under duress and when absolutely flarging mad, Gawl will go into a state of Over-Generation. Basically he's pumping out more power than he is normally capable of and places him at extreme risk. However in doing so he makes a complete transformation, going from a Stage-3 Generator into a Stage-4. Something his friends didn't think possible. This increases his size, strength and durability immensely, and even formed his own boosters for flight. He was also killing other Stage-4 Generators with ease.
