Depends if you permit game mechanics. By game logic, Rattata can defeat a lvl 100 Arceus, as a matter of fact, my lvl 1 Rattata has defeated multiple legendaries in the game. You should also limit hax moves (such as Perish Song which guarantee they die), perhaps ghost types (Ghost types are immune to anything physical or material. Also, Dusknoir can BFR you into his own dimension), or anything else that makes it ridiculously unfair.

@mysticmedivh: How the hell did your level 1 rattata beat a legendary (without hacking) I fully intend to limit hax moves, such as destiny bond and perish song. As for ghost types, they aren't immune to any other types of moves. Are you going to enter the tournament? Last time this was done, one guy (believe it was those eyes) had a mewtwo and still lost because in the end it comes down to the strength of your debate and how well organized your team is.

No hacking whatsoever is involved. Really simple as a matter of fact. All a Pokémon needs is an ability like Sturdy or something like a Focus Sash to prevent it from being 1 hit K.O., the Pokémon then uses Endeavor (which causes the opponent to have the same amount of HP as your current Pokémon), and then uses Quick Attack or any other attack that has a priority +1 or +2 (such as Aqua Jet or Extreme Speed, resulting in the attack to ALWAYS go first), and thus defeating the opponent that only has 1 HP.

About the Ghost types, they can just go intangible, invisible, create illusions, etc.

Rattata is not the only Pokémon that can do this, many others have the same potential as well.

@jacthripper: Is it possible that one of the weapons can be adamtanium swords or something? Because i see no sword type weapons that are compatible with jack.

Except that in a real fight, and not a pokemon game, the fighters wouldn't be taking freaking turns. IF this was in the anime, arceus would have already launched a second attack after the first one if ratata somehow survived.

A few quick question, does the pym particles last for the whole tournament for a character? Also, if I take it and a suit of armor will the armor expand with the character?

Just want to make extra sure so I don't run into problems later.

Thanks for rementioning the obvious that the OP had already stated in a previous comment. Not to mention, the OP already said (after I mentioned stuff like Destiny Bond/Perish Song) that hax moves/powers and game mechanics such as this would not be permitted, since it would be ridiculously unfair.
