Rules/Scenario.

Random Encounter.

Battle takes place in a huge forest.

All characters are on high alert.

Gaunts Ghosts have their usual gear & are armed with a Lasgun each apart from Larkin who has a Long Lasgun & a Large Adamantium Combat Knife each.

lllic has his usual gear - Ranger Long Rifle & Power Sword.

Gaunts Ghosts & lllic start 5 miles apart.

Fight to the Death.

@chaos_prime: Can't illic basically Door himself around like Midnighter? I'm going with him on the account he finds them then teleports away and now knowing their postion snipes their heads off.

Its been mentioned few times by others hes a master of the webway but imo that would be abit unfair in this scenario :)

Gaunt is a smart cookey, don't underestimate him.

I do not read Gaunts Ghost, but came across this comic of him.

As much as i love gaunt's ghosts, i'll have to give this one to the xeno

Lemme explain.

They are both the masters of stealth and hit and run of they're forces, but the xeno has so many advantages in experience,gear and physical stats that the poor men cannot hope to stack up.

They are similar soldiers at different levels.

Humanity has something to face this kind of beings.

was setting up for a battle tournament of my own and had to necro this thread sorry, but I gotta say Ven, Mkoll, and Larkin take this. i will not say STOMP or any nonsense like that, because it will not be easy but Dan Abnett has written these ghosts to be legendary. He let Mkoll outstealth a Mandrake Assassin and it wasnt even close. he did it with such an ease of skill and even had Mkoll give a little "You're good" before he killed him. it may be PIS or CIS but these 3 are written way above normal human feats. and i will be the first to say it doesn't make sense. but that being said, I go ghosts (only because Abnett loves them).
