Rules

  • No preparation time or prior knowledge.
  • Morals off. Bloodlust on.
  • Regular versions. No versions of characters that would make this match unfair, such as the god version of Kratos or Pre-Schrödinger Alucard.
  • Win by death, K.O., or incapacitation.

This is not Ganondorf vs. Kratos and Alucard. This is Ganondorf fighting them one on one, separate, individual, fights.

List of Ganondorf's powers and abilities for those of you who are not familiar with him.

Superhuman Strength: Granted by the Triforce of Power, Ganondorf possesses enhanced strength with an unknown upper limit. In Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, he is buried by rubble, but is able to easily break free of it, sending many pieces of debris flying in multiple directions. Many of these pieces are the size of large houses, so it is likely that Ganondorf's strength falls somewhere between the 40-50 ton range.

Sorcery- Ganondorf was already an extremely adept sorceror before he attained the Triforce of Power, which increased his magic immensely. This gave him the ability to do things like create hordes of evil minions from dark magic, summon demons/ghosts, give powers to others, shapeshift, create shadow dopplegangers of himself, and open up portals to other dimensions.

Energy Projection: Ganondorf is capable of projecting powerful force-bolts of dark magic, and is also able to project nigh-invulnerable forcefields (he has used this technique more than once to trap and contain others).

Flight: Using his magic, Ganondorf is able to achieve flight (the exact speeds at which he can fly is unknown).

Swordplay: Ganondorf is an expert swordsman, able to easily keep up with Link when fighting with him.

Tactics: Ganondorf is a master tactician, able to manipulate emotions, people, and events to achieve his own ends.

Kratos's permitted equipment and special abilities

  • Blades of Chaos: Kratos' main weapons. A large pair of axe-like swords that are attached to chains which, in turn, are attach to Kratos wrists. Allows Kratos to attack at great length with great power and speed. Blades emit flames and can cause explosions. Basically an extension of Kratos body, Kratos has complete control over them and can do an number of tasks with them other than for attacking such as pulling objects and swinging.
  • Icarus Wings: Torn from the legendary Icarus, Kratos can use the artificial wings to glide and fly with the help of powerful upward drafts.
  • Boots of Hermes: After defeating the Messenger of Olympus, Kratos acquired Hermes' winged sandals. With the the source of the God of Speed's power in his possession, Kratos can run up walls and ram his enemies at great speed leaving a trail of fire in his wake.

  • Zeus' Fury: Granted to him by the King of the Gods himself, Kratos can hurl thunderbolts at his enemies from afar. Can be charged for a devastating blast of lightning.

  • Typhon's Bane: Torn from the eye of the imprisoned Titan, Typhon, this ability manifested into the shape of a bow. Kratos could harness the power of wind to fire blasts of wind or create small tornadoes.
  • Atlas Quake: Granted to him by the mighty Titan Atlas, Kratos can pound the earth with his fists to send shock waves of debris in all directions.

List of Kratos's powers and abilities for those of you who are not familiar with him.

Kratos is a natural born demigod, his father being the mighty Zeus himself. This heritage allows him to possess a number physical attributes and powers. Kratos possesses an unknown level superhuman strength. His strength seems to fluctuate according to the situation that requires it. He can go from having enough strength to open certain doors one minute to having the strength to combat beings of massive strength and size the next. His greatest feats of strength include wrestling the mighty Hydra into submission, going toe to toe with Hercules, resisting being crushed between the fingers of the Titans Atlas and Cronos, tossing the Colossus of Rhodes after it attempted to crush Kratos under it’s foot, and overpowering Zeus himself. Kratos also has a decent degree of durability, being able to survive attacks and situations that would easily kill a normal man. Such feats of durability include falling from great heights and walking away unharmed, getting crushed, stabbed, beaten, blasted, and burned by various enemies and traps he’s encountered. Kratos also has the ability to sense incoming danger and react quite fast. Under normal conditions, Kratos has the speed of an Olympic athlete, but when possessing the Boots of Hermes {see Weapons and Equipment}, his speed increases. Kratos has superhuman stamina. In fact, Kratos has never been sown to tire at all. Kratos is a master of weaponry, able to pick up any weapon and use it like an expert. Kratos is excellent in the arts of war, able to execute brutal strategies to win almost any battle. He has shown to be a capable magic user, but only in offensive spells {see Magic}.

Alucard's weapons

  • x2 Jackal's: A large black pistol made by Walter C. Donez, The weapon is 39 cm long and weighs in at 16 kg. It fires 13 mm amour piercing bullets that have a mercury core and is baptized in holy water and all this is encased in a silver melted down from a cross. and contains a spirit named "Willis" whom Alucard meets in a dream. It can also fire explosive rounds. (Infinite ammo)

List of Alucard's powers and abilities for those of you who are not familiar with him.

Super Strength

Alucard can lift far in excess of 10 tons effortlessly. Upper limit unknown.

Super Speed

Alucard can move at teleportation-like speeds(faster than the speed of bullets).

Superhuman Reflexes

Alucard can catch objects moving at supersonic speeds with ease. He even caught Rip Van winkle's bullet(which traveled at Mach 3.5) and fought father Anderson multiple times to a standstill (both were moving faster than average vampires which usually dodges multiple machine gun fires).

Superhuman Accuracy

Alucard is very proficient in using guns. He has perfect aim and has taught Seras Victoria on how to shoot things more than a mile away without missing. He can also fire multiple bullets that does not miss without even looking.

Super Stamina

Alucard was never shown to tire and could continue fighting as long as he likes.

Immortality

Alucard does not age and as a vampire, he does not die. Also, he cannot be killed by any means necessary as he would only redirect the death to one of the souls he devoured. Father Anderson even said that the reason as to why Alucard can never be truly killed is because of all the souls he devoured. However, it is only a pseudo-immortality as he can probably be finally killed by destroying all the souls he released in Restraint Level 0 and by killing him.

Alucard also stated himself that he will not get weak to sunlight, he only dislikes it.

Invulnerability

Regular bullets, temperature extremes, bombs, etc. cannot harm Alucard to any degree. Despite his level of near invulnerability, Holy weapons can harm.

Healing Factor

Alucard can heal from any injury instantly without scarring including organs or missing limbs (when harmed by those who can match him in strength or holy weapons) If blown to bits he merely turns into a shadow and reforms.

Vision Powers

Alucard, like traditional vampires, possess enhanced sight, such as night vision (Alucard can see clearly in total darkness) and telescopic (can see events happening dozens of miles away as it happens).

Telepathy

Alucard can read the mind and communicate with anyone he so desires.

Telekinesis

Alucard can move objects with his mind. The upper limit of this power is unknown.

Invisibility

Alucard can turn invisible to the naked eye any time he so desires.

Intangibility

Alucard is capable of shifting his mass into another dimension, altering his density and thus allowing him to pass through any solid object, or allow solid objects to pass through him. This was shown when Alucard phased through a solid wall during the chapter where Seras Victoria was explaining that she was a vampire to the Wild Geese.

Shapeshifting

Alucard can turn into any form he chooses-from being able to turn different human beings to animals to even inanimate objects.

Shadow Manipulation

Alucard can turn into a shadowy form, which he can use however he wishes (turning into hellhounds,etc.).

Mind Control

Alucard has the ability to control the minds of any human, or vampire, he chooses (meaning he can control more than one mind simultaneously). The extent of this power is unknown.

Sleep Induction

Can cause someone to sleep by mere thought.

Hypnosis

Can send others into a dream-like state (both human and vampire).

Illusions

Can create false images in the minds of others (both human and vampire). As shown when he cast an illusion on Walter (making Alucard look like Luke Valentine).

Bloodsucking

Can absorb blood through his clothes or over large distances.

Memory Absorption

Can absorb memories through blood.

Soul Devouring

Owns the soul of whoever he kills.

Combat Experience

Although Alucard prefers uses his vast supernatural powers to crush his opponents, Alucard has mastered all forms of armed and unarmed combat over his past life of 2,000 years.

The Location

Lots of rubble, debris, and buildings to maneuver around, hide, and use to your advantage.

Let's say for one round he can summon his minions, but for the other he can't.

@mysticmedivh: if gannon can summon some of his minions it should help him immensely against alucard. i think round 1 with minions he beats both of them, without minions he beats only kratos.

Dont forget... Ganondorf is a BEAST on that pipe organ!!

In all seriousness, Ganondorf could take both. He emitted powerful waves of dark magic, that were able to repel a magical, all knowing, annoying as hell fairy. It is also stated that only the Mater sword, light arrows and i think silver arrows effect him.

Silver arrows have been pretty much retconned, so no to that.

Ganondorf's best feats/abilities that I know of are immortality, reality-warping and powerful magic, dimension walking, transformation, and very strong durability and strength (only high rated holy based items can "effect" him). So if either Kratos or Alucard can counter all of this and put him down, then I suppose I give them the win.

Hmm, could the Blade of Olympus that Kratos wields be considered a "holy" weapon?

Kratos can only wield specific weapons/equipment, which has been specified in the OP. Blade of Olympus is not permitted since it would make the battle unfair.

@mysticmedivh: OK, fair enough.

What about Zeus' Fury? We know Ganondorf can be harmed/paralyzed by light arrows, but could Zeus' Fury accomplish the same effect? If yes, then I'm inclined to say Kratos would win.

@ordinaryalan: Thing of it is, the Light Arrows were designed to smite/destroy evil, it's specific. Even then it just stuns Ganon which considering it can kill other beings of evil, that's rather an impressive feat for it to only stun Ganon considering that the Light Arrows are powered by deities and the like.

Hmm, interesting. I guess you have a point. But that leaves us with the inescapable conclusion that only Link can harm/kill Ganondorf then. Since he's the only one with light arrows, right?

@ordinaryalan: Well Zelda has used them too. But yeah, though it's the Master Sword(which is more powerful than the arrows) that harms/kills Ganon moreso than the Light Arrows which just stun him.

Don't they go hand in hand? I just finished A Link Between Worlds for 3DS (awesome game, btw) and you had to have the light arrows to stun him before you could harm him. I think it's the same in OOT.

Anyways, how can Kratos and Alucard beat him if they don't have the Master Sword or Light Arrows?

@ordinaryalan: They do game wise yeah, but the Master Sword is what actually kills Ganon in both game and the manga.

As for how they could beat him?....Not sure they can.

I'm well aware. Kratos bitchslaps Zeus and climbs out of Hell Multiple times, and Alucard is a near immortal demon that can plow through advanced, futuristic military weaponry and armorment in nanoseconds. Ganiondorf is powerful and all, but this is just unfair. His minions won't make it like fighting 10 Ganondorfs. I showed this topic to my Zelda obsessive stepbrother and he thinks Ganondorf has less chance than I do.

I'm not underrating him, I just feel the other two are being undersold. I'm well aware of his capabilities. He has some impressive feats, but even without the Master Sword, a kid, a talented kid, but a kid nonetheless, can give him minor difficulties. Would Link, say halfway through Ocarina, last more than 5 seconds against Kratos or Alucard? He's clearly the strongest living entity in Zelda's world, but that's a far lower measuring stick than that of the other two, worlds they basically dominate, might I add, more successfully and efficiently than Ganon has in at least hundreds of years.
