He makes it to 3. He then loses a close fight with Sauron

Sauron with the ring is more powerful than Gandalf the White, as they both come from the same order of beings (Maiar).

Whereas Gandalf does possess a Ring of Power (Narya), Sauron has THE ring of power.

Gandalf possesses far more raw power than Dumbledore, and possesses far more experience and wisdom being apart of the Maiar, immortal beings created by Eru Illuvatar in the beginning of Middle Earth.

And The Witch King didn't really make Gandalf his anything. The conflict is never resolved, all we know if that the Witch King's fell beast was able to throw Gandalf from his horse. They exchange a few words, and The Witch King rides off to Pelennor, where he is killed by Eowyn.

He barely makes it past Invincible, and gets stomped by everyone else, starting with Sauron, who would win a closeish fight with him.

Gandalf, if nothing else, had "GIMME YOUR THINGY" telekinesis ability, taking Dumbledore's wand is all he has to do to win.

And, at least in the extended version of the movie, WK shattered Gandalf's staff and was all "You like that? 'Cause there's like, sooo much more where that came from." and Gandalf was like ":o Hooo boy."

I just want to know why PC Superman is before Grandmaster Luke, is Luke really that powerful?

Movie Gandalf will be defeated in the first round.

Movie Gandalf abilities included this shield that shattered Balrog sword, creation and manipulation of light overall, telekinesis, shattering stone bridge and destroying throwing weapon of Gimli, destroying arrow mid air, heating Aragorn's sword. It's really shame that it's not book version of Gandalf, there he also created and controlled fire, cast lightning, used shutting spell on the door in Moria had mental abilities like telepathy and mind reading, had speed and strength that easily surprised young warriors, and could paralyze with his mind Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn in Fangorn Forest (preventing them from attacking him, and show telekinetic ability, of removing gimli's axe just by raising his staff, which means that Peter Jackson did something right with this telekinesis showdown with Saruman :).

Anyway, he only wins rounds one, two, four, and six. Round four being the most difficult battle. If this is movie Gandalf, he only wins round one.

EDIT: Didn't see the pre-crisis part. Yeah, pre-crisis Superman just creates anti-Gandalf freeze breath and instakills him.

Okay, can someone explain to me exactly how powerful Gandalf is because I've heard that he's worse than Dumbledore from some people while others tell me he's at Skyfather level. What's going on here?

Movie version of Gandalf the White may or may not stop at Dumbledore. This gauntlet seems to be made toward the book version as the rest of the rounds seem like spite otherwise.

Book version of Gandalf the White has less feats than Superman 1 Million. He's entirely subjective and open to interpretation and so cannot really be used effectively in a battle thread.
