It was from 1974, I don't know which version that is. Any version of Thanos is stronger than Barda at any rate.

Are you out your darn mind? What possesed you to think Gamora can take Barda? unlike these sissy boys who can only fight using fireworks (Silver Surfer, Nova) Barda is an actual through and through warrior to the highest degree and H2H only Wonder Woman can match her not to even mention the fact that Gamora is a mere 25 tonner compared to Barda who's strength is only slightly lower than Wonder Woman's herself

Gamora knows 83.4% of the martial art forms in the galaxy, along with weaponry and stealth techniques. She has speed and strength to match Adam Warlock, and has been enhanced by Thanos and Warlock to the point where her skeleton is practically invulnerable. She possesses a dagger that can kill even Thanos and Magus. She can heal.  That's what possessed me.

Big Barda being by far physically superior with similar skill gives her round 1... Gamora has almost no skill feats. She's lost to Wolverine before and she's beaten Night Thrasher, and that's about it. Gamora only fought Thanos in a sparring match also. Gamora is just good on paper...

@IZZR: Gamora is known to hit nerves, if she can manage to hit a nerve and KO the thing (this happened in one of the marvel arc story when goddess the good part of adam warlock was given marvel universe the creeps), so yeah if Gamora gets a clear shot at Big Barda i am betting she can KO her [just imagine how hard it must have been to find a nerve in the thing's body] I know ur right on the part that Big Barda is seriously more powerful, but when it come to H2H training i would give it to Gamora, she spend her life training how to beat ppl who are stronger than her. she is not known to be incredibly fast.. :)   but then i suppose i massively powerful hit from BB should KO gamora as well.. i money is on Gamora but this is no stomp by any means!

Why was this bumped? Gamora wins. Far too skilled, has dropped Dumb-Drax on his backside, and has nerve strikes that can kill Eternals. Just play fighting with Thanos made people think she killed him, when she knew full well he was faking it and he knew she was playing with him as well.

Doesn't matter that Barda is stronger physically. She's outclassed in HTH and melee. And Gamora does have a healing factor.

The Marvel fans are insane.

IIRC Thanos sparred with Gamora and let her think that she hurt him. She's not taking on a Superman level opponent and winning.

@evil_incarnate She fought Maxam someone who was matched in strength with Classic Drax and was holding her own. Not to mention she can drop Barda with a pressure point.

@evil_incarnate: He didn't let'er think anything. She knew he was faking. And Thanos knew she was just testing him, just as he was testing her. As said, she's already knocked down Drax, who's above Superman.

Barda's not taking this. Being physically stronger has never been a great advantage over Gamora.
