Is gambit willing to charge tombstone in character? I don't know if his cards are powerful enough to hurt him....Its a tough call. Charging tombstones body is his best chance but than again even daredevil remarked tombstone was fast.

@jashro44: If he knows Tombstone won't die, I think he will at the very least charge up his clothes. He did charge up Daken.

@quatro_briefs:Daken does have a healing factor though and as I said tombstone isn't really that slow...And can he charge his cloths with enough power to hurt him? Tombstone has tanked explosions which have destroyed an entire building before.

@jashro44: That I don't know, but he had Daken on the ropes. Also, he sent Gladiator back with a full deck so if he feels threatened he can pull that if or maybe half?

Reason for this fight is I saw Tombstone will be a villain in an upcoming Gambit arc.

Having daken on the ropes is impressive and I suppose if his first move is to charge tombstones body he could win. I'm just not sure if it would be his first move. As for hurting gladiator I would assume gladiator was low on confidence.

Reason for this fight is I saw Tombstone will be a villain in an upcoming Gambit arc.

Interesting....I definitely believe this is a good fight.

@jashro44: Sure is. My knowledge on Tombstone is not the best, but he was quite impressive in the Spider Man cartoons. I will read up on him some more. And no, Gambit didn't hurt Gladiator, more of a knock him on his butt.

Thanks. First of all, how has he done vs someone similar in Gambit's league? Is he good at avoiding? I kinda remember in the cartoon he ran pretty fast and is not the smartest guy around but was quite tough and able to hurt Spider-Man.

@quatro_briefs: Honestly, the only way Gambit takes this is if he charges Tombstone. Tombstone's fast for his size, but he's not one that really focuses on dodging.

Tombstone's in the building that explodes:

Just fine after this massive fall:

The battle is interesting and I think that Gambit can win this.If he charges a material big enough to stop Tombstone but if that doesn't happen he will die.

Well, charging clothes won´t be enough to put Tombstone down, he did it to Steve and wasn´t enough, so the only way is to charge his body, and that´s quite possible to happen considering Gambit stats (agility, reflexes)..

Gambit can alter the amount of charge he puts in objects I am quite certain of that that is one of the reasons wht Cap was not KO'ed.

@quatro_briefs:

That´s true but I don´t think it would be enough to put him down, not if you consider him in character..

Now, a morals Off Gambit could do some good damage using his power with creativity, abusing his agility to leave energized traps all arround the battlefield since Tombstone is used to chase the enemy without worrying too much about what´s next to him. Remy could use it to tire him a little bit while he charges some heavy objects to put him down temporarily so that he can charge him properly..

While it tombstone does start off strongly- Spider-Man later One-Shots him though.

@laflux: Didn't seem relevant enoughfor me include seeing as Remy has no hope of producing that level of blunt force trauma. Peter had to web up his hand and put everything he had into that punch.

Didn't know Tombstone was so bad ass. Hard to see Remy winning unless he does something like this...

I know- its just that I used that scan in a CaV debate recently, and said to myself, ah that's familiar. Force of Habit more than anything else :)

So we agree Gambit can take him? :)

Gambit's smart. He could dodge Tombstone and lead him to a place where he could bury him under heavy rubble.

Gambit was able to push back Gladiator by charging his whole deck. So perhaps the same can be repeated?
