Gambit and X-23 vs Batman and Nightwing

• Round 2:: Morals off

In character team 1. Gambit and X-23 are capable of holding their in terms of H2H with team bats but team bats are the better fighters. However I don't see it becoming enough to overcome their mutant abilities. Round 2 is different. A morals of Batman is dangerous. I see Nightwing holding off Laura while a morals off batman takes out gambit.

I'd put my money on Gambit and X-23. Moderate disadvantage in skill. Major advantage in powers.

Team 2 is significantly more skilled in hand to hand.

Be that as it may, I'm going with the superhumanly fast dude that can make everything and anything he touches go boom and the gal who can be caught in explosions and be seen walking out of the inferno still intact and ready for a scrap seconds later.

X-23 wouldn't have to do a thing.

Her healing puts her on par with nightwing. Her with morals off is just a nightmare for nightwing. Not saying she would stomp him but he won't be walking away without a major wound if he does win.

Trapped inside the Tower with a small starting distance gives the X team a big advantage. Outdoors in a city is more balanced. It would be cool if a thread like that existed.

Round 1 goes to Bruce/Dick. They're much better at teamwork and either could take out Gambit pretty quickly. then they double team X-23. Round 2 goes to Gambit/X-23, though. Morals off completely changes things.

I don't think you understood my point. This team needs space (to react accordingly and talk) and an environment in their favor to stand a chance against the sheer power behind the X-team. 20 feet apart in a restaurant doesn't seem to benefit them at all IMHO.

You said they were trapped, but there is plenty of move room. It is not an open blank space, there are corners, hallways, tables, different levels indoors and out. The tower itself is all structure they could climb and swing from if desired. All this works well for stealthy people like the Batman and Nightwing =)

I'm aware of what the restaurant is like in the Eiffel Tower. I've been there. It was many years ago, but I'm not oblivious to the location. The short distance, lack of space and combination of not knowing the power they're up against means they're going to get wrecked in this situation. I don't see stealth being a big factor if they're only 20 feet apart and begin inside. That's just my opinion, though. ;)
