Galactus vs Rose Tyler

vs

No prep, basic knowledge, fight to the death.

Who wins?

With the entire Time Vortex absorbed into her, Rose probably wins. She could erase Galactus from time itself. However without immediate intervention she'll most likely die as well.

She lacks the control necessary to defeat somebody like Galactus.

You may have a point there.

Rose certainly has the potential to do the job, but would she be able to control the power to that degree?

Seems like the key to the battle is how long it lasts. If the battle drags on for too long, Rose wont last. Having that much power was obviously killing her pretty quick there. But, she has a chance if she can take out Big G fast.

Pretty much yeah, though I don't see this battle lasting long; it will be a question of can she control it well enough or can't she. If she can then she'll end it with a gesture, if not then it's over. Either Rose wins in the first 5 seconds of the battle or not at all.

Galactus will win. Galactus is a match for Eternity himself.

No he isn't. Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet was easily able to defeat Galactus but struggled with Eternity.

@whydama: This is irrelevant. Beings like Galactus and Eternity control the energies of the continuum (such as time and space) to an extent, namely universally. Rose, with powers under her full control, has mastery over the continuum. Period.

Exactly what feats does Rose have as Bad Wolf that could stand up to goddamn Galactus? I don't exactly consider wiping out the Daleks as terribly impressive on this scale.

The Time Vortex is a multiversal force that seems to connect the entire Who setting. However, Rose doesn't have the control to use it to it's full potential. Galactus can just wait for her to burn herself out if he really wants to, it won't take more than a few minutes. Then he can try and consume the time vortex to have himself set for life. Of course, assuming that the Vortex isn't powerful enough to burn him out as well.

Rose has no feats to show that she is immune to the UN. Even Thanos with IG was cautious of the UN and didnt allow Quasar to fire it.

@whydama: Would the UN destroy the TOAA? Hmmm... then perhaps you can understand what level of power Galactus would be dealing with. UN. Or no UN. Rose FTW.

People putting to much fate in Rose (Proves that their are too many Whovians in this site), Galactus can put up a fight against her not even full, but if he was fully fed then yea its in Galactus's favor.
