You mean like the whole DC verse?

#6 Posted by TifaLockhart (13828 posts) - - Show Bio

He could take quite a few names, but putting anyone who's not omnipotent up against the entire universe (which I assume includes DC's version of God) is not going to end good.

@The_Last_Son_of_Czarnia:Omnipotents and multi versal abstracts aside, can he win?

Well he could win against Earth, but not against entire universe,

#9 Posted by TifaLockhart (13828 posts) - - Show Bio

Does the Spectre count as an "Earth" hero?

#14 Posted by icysloth (1305 posts) - - Show Bio

No, he couldn't.

DC Earth has Alan Scott and Johnny Thunder, among others, that could potentially solo Galactus.

Johnny Thunder has control over a genie of the fifth dimension, meaning he's vicariously a reality warper on the level of Mr. Mxyzptlk. He could solo Galactus.

If Thanos could injure Galactus a bit with prep, I'm pretty sure the DC Verse could beat Galactus.

Wouldn't stand a chance, a cosmic character with a finite power supply and exploitable hunger weakness against Earth's hero's god and magic users. He would a stain on the moon, he realistically could never take Marvel Earth either but so many overpowered characters who make Earth home are are unmentioned when he comes around.

In before the lock....and galactus can't defeat an entire universe

#25 Posted by mcool135 (413 posts) - - Show Bio

Galactus gets stomped entering the universe...

#26 Posted by Needlebay (1916 posts) - - Show Bio

Spectre solos.

#27 Posted by El_Nastro (86 posts) - - Show Bio

Does anyone in the DCU have the Ultimate Nullifier? Can they get it? If so, then no problem. If not, Galactus devours unopposed.

#28 Posted by TifaLockhart (13828 posts) - - Show Bio

@El_Nastro: Please tell me you're

a) joking

or

b) excluding cosmics and using a fed Galactus

#29 Posted by RedheadedAtrocitus (6885 posts) - - Show Bio

Definitely not...

#30 Posted by P0rtal (856 posts) - - Show Bio

galactus can only dish it, he cant take it... thanos was able to send him flying back when big g had no shielding up to protect him, and thors hammer almost takes his head off every time it hits, hes a big old sissy when it comes to taking hits, glass chin for sure

but, i want to see an imperiex vs galactus cross over so bad....ugh

#31 Posted by Illuminatus (9410 posts) - - Show Bio

Galactus stomps. Show me scans of someone in DC eating a planet.

#32 Posted by P0rtal (856 posts) - - Show Bio

galactus doesnt bite planets and chew them, his machines dig into the core of the planet to help him get the most energy, he then absorbs the planets leaving them barren wastelands void of all life, liquids and energy. but...galactus can grow big enough to bite planets and literally eat them if he wanted to but its not as efficient as whatever methods he has been doing for 13 billion years or so.

#33 Posted by Azathoth_The_Dread_Sleeper (597 posts) - - Show Bio

@Illuminatus:

DC has the Anti-Monitor who destroyed a multiverse.

#34 Posted by ssejllenrad (12780 posts) - - Show Bio

@Illuminatus:

Here is your "scan"... Dexter's Lab is owned by Turner owned by Time Warner who also owns DC... Close enough... :D

#35 Posted by kingkronos (2501 posts) - - Show Bio

Galactus wouldn't be even in the top tiers of Dc universe.

#36 Posted by TifaLockhart (13828 posts) - - Show Bio

Gedirath was going to crush Earth in his palm. Does that count? Yuga Khan also ate planets.

#37 Posted by WaveMotionCannon (4669 posts) - - Show Bio

New 52 ,Galactus stomps ass. Old DC, pretty much everyone below Spectre gets demolished but Galactus takes a huge loss. DC FTW.

#38 Posted by matchesmalone21 (7627 posts) - - Show Bio

@Illuminatus: kidding Right?

#39 Posted by TifaLockhart (13828 posts) - - Show Bio

The ultimate Nullifer has been used and was deflected, it's only feat and it was dropped the ball.

New 52 universe is actually a lot more powerful since it also includes characters from titles that where normally outside the the main DC universe. The GL corps would are unchanged and would clean his clock.
