@thanobomb1124: can u elaborate why, i was thinking this would be close maybe a little in G favor but not a stomp
Galan powers are nearly omnipotent. Galactus represents equity according to the Living Tribunal. His existence balances the concept of Eternity and Death. Death has call him brother, lover, husband etc. Technologically advanced that even Reed Richards admitted that he could not fully comprehend it.@thanobomb1124: can u elaborate why, i was thinking this would be close maybe a little in G favor but not a stomp
@thanobomb1124: hes not omnipotent, and i understand his importance to the universe with keeping balance but what will he actually do to defeat them?
so far we have 10 ppl saying galactus stomps with out giving even 1 reason,,not saying he doesnt win it would be nice to hear how this would happen though
@jameshebrew: Because Galactus is far superior. Heres his page.
http://www.comicvine.com/galactus/29-2149/
It actually states that Galactus only NEAR-OMNIPOTENT.
But he can destroy entire Galaxies with ease.
This makes the thread either a spite....or a troll thread. I'm assuming the latter as have my colleagues...just look at the nice picture they posted in your honor sir!
Galactus is omnipotent in context that his Power Cosmic is unlimited or so vast that it cannot be measured. Not that he's omnipotent to the point he can't die. Galactus is so beyond Henshaw and the Alpha Lanterns in that it makes little to no sense to even have them opponents.@thanobomb1124: hes not omnipotent, and i understand his importance to the universe with keeping balance but what will he actually do to defeat them?
@The_Mayhem_Theory: henshaw actually can not die so i figured it might even out a bit,,but i see that galactus is the winner here ty for actually giving a real answer
You're welcome. And I'm pretty sure Henshaw can die. Especially against Galactus. Lol.@The_Mayhem_Theory: henshaw actually can not die so i figured it might even out a bit,,but i see that galactus is the winner here ty for actually giving a real answer

Galactus, but Henshaw won't die. He'll just lose.
This, most likely.

Big G makes Henshaw his herald then makes him kill the alpha lanterns G wins.
Actually, Henshaw attempted to become Galactus' herald in the Superman/fantastic four crossover. http://www.comicvine.com/supermanfantastic-four-the-infinite-destruction/37-187427/. Also, despite these things not being cannon, I thought I'd mention that Galactus stomps Henshaw with ease in this one.

@god_spawn: than why say anything at all
I agree with jameshebrew.
And as a final thought. Henshaw is a technopath to end all technopaths. He doesn't just take control of tech/machinery, he incorporates it into himself effectively expanding his consciousness. He's pretty much limited to becoming what his immortal consciousness has conglomerated. This includes kryptonian genetics as well as kryptonian, apokaliptian, and Oan, tech. He was able to effectively genetically engineer himself to the point where his kryptonian physiology no longer contained weakness to kryptonite.
My point? The pre-DCnU Henshaw had near limitless potential. I'd think if someone wanted to dig up the appropriate scans and find some of the Cyborgs feats then give him sufficient prep in this fight, he could give Galactus a run for his money. Plus, he's immortal. He could just obliterate planets starving Galactus till he was weak enough to defeat if need be (potentially, as his, I'm not sure if he's been shown to be a planet burster).
@jameshebrew: Oh, and how do you bfr space?
@The_Mayhem_Theory: he actually cant be completely killed ever i know it sounds ridiculous but its true
@jameshebrew: Well, a severely debilitated Galactus at the end of Annihilation was able to destroy three solar systems simply by expanding his power cosmic, if that's any correlation as to how well he would fair against Henshaw and the Alpha Lantern at 80% power.
@jameshebrew: Im serious my Comicbook knowledge has incresed since i joined Comicvine, if your opened minded yours will too.
For instance you should learn from this Experiance that Galactus will almost always beat anyone who's not a Major Cosmic force.
If your not Trolling that is.
@jameshebrew: Well it's true he's immortal for the most part henshaw is no where near big G's level any though other wise is delusional's of grander. @Onemoreposter: Henshaw well deadly isn't on Galactus level no where near it where talking planet buster barely vs a universe buster at minimum
@amazinglover: Right. Anything I posted about him having a chance against Galactus was hypothetical. However, I look at the Cyborg like V'ger (from Star Trek the Motion Picture) times a million. There really isn't a limit to how intelligent and powerful he can grow. He can integrate anything organic or technological into himself in a universe with nigh infinite organic and technological wonders. Plus, he IS immortal.
As for being a planet buster, I don't think many people would argue that pre-flashpoint Superman isn't a planet buster and if he is, then the Cyborg absolutely is.
Oh, and I just wanted to post a feat of him integrating organic life into himself beyond kryptonian physiology (just in case someone wants to dispute and I can't find the scan later).
In terms of raw power galactus is way way too powerful here, that much is obvious. Simply he shouldn't be able to be harmed.
Of course as we all know if these characters were from the comic universe, and there was such a comic that had this scenario, it would not be so unlikely that the writers would have them win. Good guys always have an advantage because of plot and such.
It depends how you want to argue it; completely logically taking into account characters power and feats etc, or if you wanted to think who could win should this fight actually happen in a comic.
In this case most likely galactus would still win in a comic, but not certainly (which it should be).
