aside from her Elder status and Mystical manipulation, i dont recall her having any strength feats.
 although, by hyperbole and assumption she should be...

Gaea's physical attributes are supposedly incalculable, but even if Thor is stronger than Gaea (but he isn't), he lacks the ability to even harm Gaea.

@ShootingNova: It's because they were influenced by a curse. The curse is that if any little thing that goes wrong with the world like littering in the streets or if someone spills oil in the ocean, all the Defenders whether if they are together or if they are scattered in different parts of the universe would be instantly teleported to Gaea. It was annoying them and they wanted to be free from the curse, but the curse also made them sensitive to anger which is why they attacked her for no reason. Well, it wasn't really her because she doesn't have a corporeal body. She's a spirit, They were attacking a mountain.

I am not sure, but I remember seeing this scan, and thought this would be the right battle to use it in.

Thor gets his most of his physical strength from Gaea instead of Odin. So that says a lot.

I am not sure, but I remember seeing this scan, and thought this would be the right battle to use it in.

In the process of freeing Gaea from Set (I think it was Set), they became completely subject to her servitude. They were imploring that she release them from their obligations seeing as they only became her servants to save her and the planet she loves so very much (Earth). She then asked them if they were ungrateful of her, and said their implications were not to her satisfaction (I'm paraphrasing obviously).

At this point they went nuts and attacked her.

No, it was the Scientist Supreme before Pym. Or maybe there 1st scientist supreme, but he had a weird name which I am having a hard time remembering.
