Fury vs. Apocalypse

I hear Fury is pretty good (although I never heard of him) but can he adapt to kill Apocalypse.

They didn't have Apocalypse, and they were all sub-par to Apocalypse.

He killed all super-humans in Earth-238 except Jim Jaspers, so it's quite likely.
