Frodo vs Harry Potter.

Round one - Pure hand to hand combat, both in boxing shorts.

Round two - Frodo has the one ring and all of his standard gear including sting. Harry has his wand.

No prep, random encounter, battle to the death, who would win and why?

Harry stomps Round One, he killed a Basilisk when he was 12 and punked a dragon at 14.

Round Two, IDK. Would the ring protect him from Avada Kedavra?

well wouldnt saurons will/spirit in the ring negate the attack? it shattered gimli's axe, dont see why it couldnt do the same to a spell. but egh.

I think it could possibly corrupt Harry just from being near him. Harry would not even know whats going on in his head then he could get stabbed.

He may still be larger and stronger than Frodo at this age, of course he does not yet have the experience.

What H2H feats does Harry have that could compare with Frodo's? Aside from being a lot taller than him, I guess...

here's how i see it

Round one- at the tender age of 12 Harry had already out manuvered and killed a Baslisk with just a sword and determination, he constantly has to fight Dudley who is much larger than him, he's had all kinds of physical training fighting Trolls, giant spiders, whomping willows and all the things in the Triwizarding tournament, that coupled with size and strength advantage, gives him the edge in h2h

Round two- now i'm unfamiliar with the sword Sting...does it have any special powers? long distant attacks? without that, Harry could finish Frodo off quickly with a stupefy, or since this is  a battle to the death, i assume morals are off, meaning harry could use the Imperius curse. the thing that makes me vote for harry in this round is he has a long distance advantage

As much as I love Lord of the Rings over Potter, I hate Frodo. And it's not like he has anything againts Harry. He's got the shorter reach and it seems he always had a target up his torso. He losses round 1 via KO or towel throw. Round 2 is overkill.

LOL no. Harry got his arm impaled by a fang bigger than him and still put the beat-down on a basilisk.

@CitizenBane: With a sword that the basilisk jammed itself down onto, essentially. He didn't choke it out or anything.

I think harry will win

round one : harry win easily because frodo is hobbit

round two :harry again , even frodo have that ring he spell accio to catch that ring and avara kedavara to finish him

so harry will win both round

And becomes a servant of the REAL dark lord.

but seriously, "frodo is a hobbit" isn't an argument. Frodo has ridiculously stupid durability, Harry would be great at the gate but Frodo would out last him

feels like Frodo wins both rounds. Harry is specifically described to be an easily beatable skinny weakling when it comes to H2H. Frodo is a Hobbit, they are basically hard working peasants with loads of stamina, endurance and physical strenght. Also Frodo became quite a good a fighter through LotR.

Round 2 Frodo stabs from the shadows.
