FREE-FOR-ALL DEATHMATCH: Knights vs Pirates vs Samurai vs Spartans
Battle takes place on an island. 100 pirates already live on the island, then 100 spartans, 100 knights and 100 samurai show up. Its a free for all battle. Who wins?
Are they working in teams, like the Spartans have to win as a group? or is it fighting to the last man, even their own teammates?
@fatalsniper728:
What weapons do the Samurai have? If they have firearms I'd go with them. Either way, Spartans and Knights have no defense against the firearms Pirates are packing
In a real life battle ( None of these characters involved) I'd say
Over
Over
Over
Over
They're all awesome though
Samurai really aren't that ancient. Muskets and rifles were availible a couple hundred years ago. Ninja were also often former samurai, so the same conditions tend to apply; ie: armor, not black cloth. Neither of them were really how Holywood romanticizes them. ESPECIALLY compared to Spartans.
I say 25 samurai remain at the end and win against the remaining 20 Spartans, 10 ninja, 10 pirates, and five knights.
@jsav777: the samurai mainly have katanas and the other weapons that deadliest warrior made them have
Pirates carried grenade like weapons called a grenado along with multiple pistols due to the slow reloading rate and even duck foot guns for shooting multiple targets at once,,they also possessed moderate skills with a sword, though no where near their opponents, I think one hundred pirates carrying grenado's pistols along with other weapons like Molotov cocktail-esque firebombs would fare quite well against their opponents

They all get murdered by the Ninjas that they didn't even know were there.
Real life ninjas aren't that strong as portrayed in the media.
Tell that to the 25 ninjas that are hiding behind your couch right now.
lol
And, also, so many stories features samurais being worthy opponents against ninjas (Even naruto had a samurai beat hanzo)

Real Life anything aren't as strong as portrayed in the media..Do you think this is an accurate depiction of Spartans?
The knights stomp.
The Spartans were good, but their most powerful weapon cam from the use of the Phalanx. However; the Phalanx, while amazing for head on fights, had a fatal flaw that anyone who could get behind the Phalanx would tear it apart. Calvary would destroy it. The Knights have that ability through their horses; which they all had. (Remember, Knights were lower nobility).
The Pirates and Samurai both suffer from a similar flaw; gear. Both have far less gear than Knights. The reason Samurai used Katana's and other similar weapons was that they did not have pure enough metals to make strong powerful swords like what the knights use. They certainly were not able to make that level of armor. Pirates had swords that were typically of decent to good quality; but they could not afford armor. It took up room, added weight to the ship, and was not useful the majority of the time since they needed excess mobility for attacking ships and defending their own. Neither have the raw power or defence that the knight has.
They had great training, powerful weapons, powerful armor, shields, horses, and some also carried small crossbows for when the need arose. They were much more versatile and powerful than the other three listed.

Not really. More armour also means that they were slower than the rest. It might take a while to go through the armour, but samurai top them in fighting skills.. Spartans, with their raw power and skills could give very tough fight to any armed knight, who is hindered by his heavy gear.. Knights aren't out of league of any of the opponents here..

The Knights are the least skilled fighters here.
A fight between two knights came down to who had better armour and who could take the most damage. There was very little skill involved comparatively. Their swordsmanship would be lacking, and as good as their armour was it has been proven that a Knight's full plate armour could be pierced by an arrow fire from a long bow, which the Samurai have (see Yumi bows).
The Samurai were also nobility, and their swords were much stronger than you give them credit for. Their armour wasn't made of metal, but it was designed to deflect and redirect the force of attacks.
Fun fact: one knight needed eight people to stay mounted and fighting. They were the Nascar drivers of their day. Without a pit crew they were f@cked. So no, of all the people here the Knights do not win.
pirates slightly edge it out due to the gunpowder. plus moderate training that's good enough to at least hold one's own
I know that post was 5 years ago, but my head hurts even more after reading such ridiculous posts saying that "Knights were terrible swordsmen" or "They needed a group of people just to get on a horse/their armor." or "They were slow cause plate armor hampered their movement."
Pirates win due to guns and knowing the terrain given that they live on the island.
Spartans use bronze armor and weapons. Most skill in fighting in large groups, but Knight and Samurai steel mess up bronze pretty hard, and bullets do bullet things.
Knights have the highest defense. But they are slow, and given that it is a island, the sand slows them down even further. They get picked off slowly.
Samurai skills are adapted to fighting in forests and small incursions. Large scale combat does not suit them. They fair well in individual combat vs any of the above, but they wear leather armor, which isnt stopping anything.
