I would normally go with Freddy, since this is inside a dream he's basically untouchable. But Dante is half-demon, so I would have to think he'd be capable of killing Freddy. Still, going with the Sweatered Spook.

Dante murders Freddy. Freddy is overrated and its not because he was defeated by teenagers (although that`s still a fact and factor to be considered) its because he never really used his powers to their fullest. Later he did do some interesting things with his powers such as turning one of the kids into a comic book and a girl into a cockroach but that`s when he`s fully powered by souls. Fear is also a factor and his powers revolve around fear. Dante wouldn`t fear Freddy and even if Freddy tries to invade Dante`s mind and use things of the past to get to him such as

His mother dying

Vergil dying

Mundus returning

I still doubt Dante would be scared or intimidated to the point where he cannot fight back due to the fact that he has a powerful will and a fearless attitude, also the fact that he has no morals within this scenario, yeah Freddy is a dead man.

I like to think Dante can win if regular human teenagers can defeat Freddy. But Dante will have to figure out that the fight needs to take place in the real world because Freddy is unbeatable or very close to it in the dream world.

Teenagers that did defeat Freddy ended up getting killed by him in later films. It's no so much of that, but they always won in the real world and they had prep.

He uses his powers at fulliest when he goes against immortal beings like in freddy vs jason, he turned jason back into a baby.

when you stop fearing freddy, that doesnt take away his powers, that just stops him from coming into your dreams. Alice stopped fearing freddy and freddy lost no powers in elm street 4....... did she win? Yes, but did she die in Elm Street 5? Yes she did. So saying teens have beaten freddy really isnt a logic especially since they died in later movies as I said.

He only was able to do that because he exploited a fear or potential fear regarding water. Jason owned him later in the movie and Jason still was giving him a hard time within the Dream World due to the fact that he is immortal, Dante is not immortal but he is very hard to kill.

Those are human individuals who are also teenagers that possess a special ability revolving around the Dream World. Dante also battles and defeats demon lords such as Mundus, The Despair Embodied, and Abigail. Freddy does not even compare, and Dante within this scenario has no morals (Dante in character has morals) which means he would go all out, Freddy dies by Dante`s sword in the end. Freddy ain`t stomping Dante, Dante kills him for the fun of it.

true, but again most of those dream warriors died. the ones that lived in elm street 3 joey, kincaid and kristen all died in the 4th film.

Are you kidding me? Jason got the sh!t beat out of him by Freddy in both the dream world and the real world. Freddy took full advantage of Jason in the Dream World, he just couldnt kill him because Jason is immortal. Well who would of thought Jason feared Freddy? Did Jason fear Freddy? No........... Not fearing Freddy will not depower him. Only reality world will. Dante might be able to win in the real world in a good fight, but in the dream world he wouldnt stand a chance. Dantes half demon and thats it like you said. Freddy is a full Demon which would mean he can absorb alot more powers. As in the videos I posted,

None of that will hurt or even phase Dante, Dante also has his Majin Form and Dreadnaught form which makes him invincible as well as impervious to all types of enemy assault.

Did I say Jason feared Freddy? I said Freddy exploited a fear in which he was able to use that against Jason giving him the upper hand and even when he did he still wasn`t able to get rid of him instantly which furthers my point regarding the situation. Regardless if he`s a full demon or not Dante is more powerful and Freddy is not going to absorb his powers, Dante could counter back with Pandora`s Omen, Holy Water, Quicksilver and Doppleganger.

Like I said before, that`s Freddy at his prime when he absorbed the souls of Elm Street it has nothing to do with his power over the Dream World. Did you ever wonder why he didn`t display this power before or at least why it wasn`t hinted at a given time? None of that will affect Dante and Dante is greater in all aspects as he is more versatile with his arsenal of weapons and his weapons destroy the souls of demons 100%, Freddy is a demon as well.

What do you mean none of them? If you're talking about the teens who beat Freddy, they as I said

1. Beat Freddy in the real world for the most part.

2. They also had prep.

3. Alice beating him in Elm Street 4 was understandable because whenever her friends and brother got killed, she gained their powers so again she had help and prep. They beat Freddy once yeah, but could they do it again? No.... You're not understanding all the teens that beat Freddy had prep and it was like their 20th time or so meeting Freddy in the dream world. No, Lori was the one that pulled Freddy out of the Dream World into reality world and did Freddy lose? ehhh... Kinda, but thats because Jason had to much help. Lori grabbed Jasons Machette and cut Freddys head off with it which was a big KO, but the fact is Jason was to slow to do it on his own and plus Freddy didnt die and when Freddy does die, he just goes back to the dream world. You gotta remember in Freddy's Dead, Freddy stated that the Dream Demons promised him he would be immortal, now he can still be KO'd when hes in the real world or even killed yes, but in the dream world he cannot. I never seen that happen. Mundus didnt even have half the powers Freddy has so no wonder Dante beat him... Mundus wasnt even a reality warper like Freddy is.

Yes being able to turn souls into Pizza would take power and yes it is because he collected the souls and they belonged to him. Why didnt he display the power of turning souls into a sausaged Pizza before is out of question..... Usually when Freddy displays a power once, we never see it again for plot whole reasons. Freddy is immortal, he cannot die. in the dream world he cannot be KO'd either. So NO..... Since the OP says the fights only in the dream world, I have to go with Freddy not only due to so many of his powers, but because Freddy is immortal and can't even be KO'd in the dream world. If you wanna believe Dante wins, then we will have to agree t disagree.

1. Yes, but they lost cause Freddy was done toying with them. Once he knew they beat him in previous films, he decided he was going to go for the kill like he is in this fight.

2. Yes, but you're ignoring the fact that hes killed other teens and the only reason they won was because they beat him in the real world ( where hes powerless ) and they used prep.

3. She was only a problem because Alice used that machine ( dont know what it was called ) , but it was the gift of good and it was like a spell to defeat Evil...... Freddy in Elm Street 4 turned Rick from having regular clothes into a Karate suit.

Thats proof In the Dream World Freddy can easily remove and depower any of Dantes equipment. Freddy as shown in the video can go invisible.

Freddy would god murder Dante and go on about his next victims. Sorry, but its the truth. Dante has no way of defeating a Dream Lord like Freddy Krueger.

It doesn`t mean Dante can`t BFR him to the real world if that was the case the OP would of said the fight only ends in the Dream World it says it takes place in the Dream World meaning the fight starts within the Dream World.

5. Yes they did. The three main things that make Freddy more powerful are the following:

1. The accumulation of souls

2. People fearing him or succumbing to their fears which amplifies his control over them within his territory (the Dream World)

3. People who remember about him and don`t forget him help support him in gaining power as well as keeping himself in involved with the real world.

Dante`s Majin Form makes him invincible to most attacks and Dante could have him already BFR`d to the real world. Dante also has his Dreadnaught form which would definitely help and Dante`s will allow him to overcome Freddy. And I`m not saying he has to fear Freddy in order for Freddy to have power but Dante being the powerfully wilful person that he is will be able to overcome Freddy especially with no morals.

Dante can defeat him before that happens and Dante`s DT forms should negate or counter Freddy`s powers as well as attempts.

Dante overcomes him in the Dream World and BFR`s to the real world, where he slaughters him.

The OP doesn`t say whether he does or doesn`t and he should be at full power also, considering the fact that he has no morals. It doesn`t state that the fight could only end in the Dream World or that BFR is not an option, a way to beat Freddy is to BFR him to the real world so that should be taken into consideration.

No it won`t.

He`s not invincible, he is to a degree unkillable.
