Regular humans have beaten Freddy in his movies. Wolverine will show Freddy what a real nightmare is.true....I was going to say something like: Freddy would sh*t his pants after seeing inside Wolverines mind
What was Freddy, a child molester?? Logans seen horrors a million times worse than anything Freddy can muster up
@Avenging-X-Bolt: Nah, Freddy can still hurt you. There's been instances of people standing up to him with out fear and still getting damaged. Like Jacob in the comics when he has received his mother's powers.
just because someone stannds up to him doesnt mean theyre not still afraid of him though.
@nick_hero22: It would take more than one person to make hinder Freddy that greatly. Wolverine should be only slightly immune to some of his tricks but still able to be damage whilst dreaming.
Freddy needs fear in order to use his powers effectively since Freddy would be laughed at by Wolverine he will be powerless and on top of that he is a D list villain who loses to teenagers.
@nick_hero22: It's actually memories that tie Freddy to his existence and how much power he has, fear just helps him become stronger.
No in Freddy vs Jason he was completely powerless that's why he need Jason in order to inspire fear for him.
@nick_hero22: Obviously you don't know what you're talking about, especially when you're saying stomped and being unable to provide correct information about Freddy
Ya the same guy that can't even handle teenagers in the dreamworld is suppose to beat Wolverine. If the kids can drag Freddy out of dreamland Wolverine would be more than capable of pulling the same thing off.
Wolverine won't even have to drag Freddy out of the dreamworld. Freddy would get the heck out of there asap when Wolverine shows him how to use clawed weapons properly. Plus I doubt Freddy can inflict the damage to even slow Wolverine down let alone kill him. He might be able to slash up 120lb teenage girls but he aint taking down an adamantiumed beast like Wolvie that easily. I give it 10/10 Wolvie based on Freddys repeated losses to regular kids in his movies. It's embarrassing.
My take on it is that in the dream world Freddy kills you by making you believe you are dead. Although there have been times where he has affected people in the real world on top, this is inconsistant.
What is more important is that the teens Freddy kills know they will die if they are impaled, burned or whatnot. Wolverine's knowledge of himself is that he can in fact survive those things. And in the real world we know he can heal from pretty much any injury. So the question becomes can Freddy do enough to Logan in the dream world to make him doubt his survivability? If so I think he could win. With that said, I don't think he could manage it.
Freddy never lost in the dream world, only in the real world. He has only been contained in the dream world, this is by Alice. Who had the power and assistance to do so. She had to become a dream master, and also require the help of her mother's spirit, and even to that extint... She could only contain him, she couldn't knock him out or kill him. This has only happened once I might add. Every other time he gets beat in the real world or banished back in to the "dream world", and sense the battle is taking place in a dream... I doubt Wolverine can beat him.
As someone already pointed out. Wolverine needs to change the battle field in order to win, by grabbing hold of Freddy and waking up. Thus dragging Freddy out to the real world.
The only way Logan can win is by waking up, otherwise Freddy stomps
In the dream world freddy is damn near omnipotent, he can alter reality at will, once inside a person's head, he can find their deepest fears, their most horrifying moments, every weakness imaginable and exploit it, i don't care how tough or badass Wolverine is, he has to fear something, freddy can easily make him see his past failures, all of the women in his life who he's failed to save, and make him re live those failures again and again, and Logan ISN'T completely unbeatable physically either, i believe if you cut his head off, it'll kill him, Freddy could do that in the dream world, there's no way wolverine can win this.
1) Wolverine has implants in his brain that give him immunity to telepathy. It's debatable whether or not Freddy would even be able to enter his dreams.
2) Freddy had problems fighting Jason Voorhees in the dream world, and Jason isn't anywhere near as dangerous as Wolverine.
3) Wolverine's healing factor would ensure that nothing Freddy does to him would hurt him in any real way.
4) Wolverine wouldn't be afraid of Freddy, as he's encountered far scarier things than him.
tl;dr, Wolverine stomps.
Yep, and Freddy does this in multiple ways. There was no PIS or CIS or WIS, which ever you want to say in Freddy vs Jason, in the dream instance. Jason had one fear, that's when he was alive, as a child. When he first encountered death. Freddy used his own subconsciousness as a child to have him re-live the experience of the only time he actually was afraid.
When Freddy is in your dream, his in your head. When he's in your head, he finds out everything there is know about you. Relatives, dead or alive. Environments you haven't seen sense you were a child, even memories you've forgotten, etc.
