Freddy invades Shuma's dreams while he's sleeping. Shuma has to defend himself against Freddy in Freddy's dream world. Can Shuma possibly survive Freddy and the powers given to him by the dream demons?

Shuma slaughters Freddy and then has the Dream Demons become his new followers but later annihilates them as he has no further use for them.
@Ohgawd: He can`t do anything, he`s not omnipotent or invincible but his powers are effective under certain circumstances such as fear, souls and existence. Freddy has never taken on demons before but only teenagers who are immature and inexperienced.

He's taken on Jason before and Jason's an immortal, yet he was still able to render him helpless in the dream world. Plus, if the dream demons saw fit they could grant Freddy more power to take on Shuma. Shuma's got to be afraid of something anyway.
@Ohgawd: Jason is nothing compared to Shuma and Freddy was only able to do that because he exploited a fear which in Jason`s case was water or the possibility of drowning within water. The Dream Demons are flees or less compared to Shuma who is a threat to entire realities while the Dream Demons are more so planetary threats or less. I don`t think Shuma is afraid of anything really and I think the Dream Demons would fear him if they were to know the stories.

Agreed.
Shuma-Gorath is no Jason Vorhee. The only monster I can think of that would match Shuma-Gorath is the thing in the movie Altitude.
Freddy wins because he can exploit shuma gorath's fear of death - shuma ran away from death in Thanos Imperative according to the comicvine page.
@TabithaCucumber: Shuma Gorath can have Freddy removed from the Dream World and then have him vaporized instantly.
Shuma would eat Freddy with its eye.
@TheSecondOpinion: Good point but wasn`t the monster from Altitude an imaginary creature?

He wasn't able to render Jason helpless. Jason came back and beat the crap out Freddy.

That's easier said than done. How's he just get rid of the whole dream world? Freddy's powers would work on anyone in the dream world, so if he were to stab Shuma through the eye it should effect him. I mean the spear of destiny was enough to pierce shuma's eye in the normal world even.

shuma is leauges beyond freddy
what proof you got? Freddy's the master of the dream world and shuma's taken long slumbers before. the comics say that shuma does dream, and he'd be vulnerable to freddy in dreams like it shows in the original post.
@TabithaCucumber: Freddy has been removed from the Dream World by teenagers (it has nothing to do with PIS or CIS), Shuma is more than capable and Shuma could even use lucid dreaming to counter Freddy. His powers don`t work on anybody its through the exploitation of a fear and how many souls he has absorbed which makes him powerful not because of his own sheer power and control, the Spear of Destiny is no ordinary weapon.
