He cant match John he has ultimate power over his Dreams and since Freddy is a demon john will defeat him as he's faced Balthazar Lucifer and Satan himself may I add Freddy is vulnerable to holy water and john is stocked up on that and also Freddy is indeed hard to kill but he operates on a system like the matrix agents anyone can take an object from the real world to the dream realm also john is the master of the dark arts he knows all about magic he can summon a swarm of hornets Travel between the astaral and physical plain and hell and earth wich is his most known ability also he can produce a charm similar yet stronger than harry potters protego charm but whether he's more powerful than harry is another topic entirely I do know he is overkill compared to Freddy I mean hes like the anti demon spray in freddys world I know some may disagree but although Fred Krueger is powerful he can be killed well not killed per say but destroyed temporarily he will only die if the writers actually go through wiv killing him I mean last Time they actually made a final movie called freddys dead and there's still more
