vs
Adult Franklin Richards vs New 52 Trigon
Fight till death.
Who wins?
@eternityx: FR stomps hard, if he is in a good mood, he turns Trigun into some pretty flowers.
what? trigon is way more powerful than franklin richards. IIRC he needed his entire childhood worth of prep to beat the celestials.. adult franklin went back in time and told kid franklin to store up all his until he needs it to fight the celestials that's how he beat them...
@eternityx: Is this New 52 Trigon as shown in the picture?
I am rather torn on this one.
I know Trigon was designed by Wolfman to be one of the most powerful entities in all of the 'common' DC world, but he's never come across someone like Franklin before, mainly because his kind doesn't really exist within DC without certain rules or personality traits that curb their power (like that of the Imps). And while Wolfman did leave hints and clues about Trigons levels of power, it's not depicted quite as boombastic as Marvel's reality warpers of modern times, certainly not when compared to what Franklin's done.
Based on these scans I believe New 52 Trigon would win
@homicidalmaniac: it's pretty hard to gauge the power level of adult Franklin Richards because of his limited appearances. But when you have Galactus as your Herald , are capable of halting the collapse of infinite universes, capable and of fighting a mad celestial when a collective of 4 were powerful enough to threaten then entire multiverse , tank an attack from an alternate reality infinity gauntlet (a rectonned infinity gauntlet which was still powerful enough to create an entire universe from nothing as well as destroy a universe into nothing) tank an attack from an alternate reality infinity gauntlet.
He was also able to turn off his grandfather's powers off not sure if that would count as anything in the thread.
He should be powerful enough to compete but adult Franklin has too little appearance to conclusively make a case either way at least that's how I personally feel.
@killemall: Didn't Adult Franklin Richard made a recent appearance in Avengers #32?

You're not remembering correctly. Adult Franklin didn't need the prep of his entire childhood. Since adult Franklin knew the future, he knew Galactus would be killed, so he had his kid version store up energy for a couple months (some of which kid franklin used) in order to revive Galactus. Adult Franklin didn't use any of that energy to fight the Celestials; he only used it to revive Galactus.
Adult Franklin was halting collapse of infinite universes? I never understood that part of the story, i.e., why he kept trying to create a reality. Do you have the scans that explain this? I would really appreciate it.

Ok. Thanks.
@eternityx: Is this New 52 Trigon as shown in the picture?
Yep, I should probably specify that in the OP.
the new 52 trigon loses to richard
trigon composite however would take him down. in comparison to his new 52 form he is not only "not afraid" of the presence but said to be on par with the spectre, who draws his power from the presence to a multiversal level max
being the very primal essence of the birth of the universe with massive experience on conquering and fighting foes on different magnitudes all over different universes is above FR expertise
but as i said for this fight: new 52 trigon loses
Someone said FR needed his entire "childhood" to beat the Celestials. Where is the evidence?
Adult FR came from the future to teach Child FR, who at the time, was already EQUAL to the Celestials, meaning Adult FR is wayyyy stronger than them.
Let me know when Trigon scares the top 5 strongest beings in your universe and has an abstract being known as Galan on his side (Galactus) and basically has the power cosmic.
Btw Adult Frank one-shotted a Celestial just by punching it with a small boost of cosmic energy.
This is Adult FR who is (well a few writers said he was) either on, ir is completely near Multiverse level while Trigon is a few steps from it.
Btw to me, Franks Cosmic Manipulation/Molecul Manipulation/Reality Warping abilities outmatch Trigon.
Not to mention FR has the strongest form of RW while Trigon's is a level behind him. Basically JJ and FR are both the final RW masters.
Completely, LT is the strongest character in Marvel as TOAA is the writer/creator which makes it unfair.
LT and the Celestials tried to recruit FR as a child and FR/Galactus rekted the Celestials.
