@Floopay: Well the Suspense is Killing me.

Heres my first thoughts.

Adavantage to Speed overall is your team by a small margin. All my Space Marines are Bullet Speed enough to react but not past bullet speed in combat speed. Karandras, Lucius, and M'Shen can hang with the best of your team in Speed.

Durability goes to my team by a fair margin thanks to Power Armour. Other than Vincent in Chaos forms my guys have Extreme Physical Durability, Anti Tank Armour, and Minor Healing Factors. Burias has a Insane Healing Factor and Karandras has no Physical body. M'Shen being the only average Durability here.

Weapons are near Even as Yours have cut or shot though layers of steel. Mine can cut through on the Molecule level.

Magic vs Tech/warp is a game changer. My guys have each unique Gear or abilities related to Tech and the Warp. Yours have Magic Materia to cast around for different combos.

Flight goes to your team. I have 1 Flyer to your seeming 4.

Finaly the skill factor. Some of my guys been at this for 10K years. Ahriman, Lucius, Karandras, Burias, Marduk, and Kharn. M'shen has maybe 30=40 years as a Human Lifespan Assassin. Huron has over 1000 years. So experiance and skill go to me in spades.

Let the games begin.

Sephiroth:

Prepare yourself, this is the full list of Sephiroth's abilities. Including the ones I don't normally bring up in debates...

· Weapons: Masamune

· Armor: Escort Guard (Halves the effectiveness of Fire, Cold, and Electric based attacks)

· Accessories: Protect Ring (Permanent: Wall)

· Materia: Haste, Revive, Restore, Earth, Fire, Ice

· Vehicles: None

Abilities:

  • Superhuman Strength - Sephiroth lies in the 10-15 ton range. He can throw people through several feet of steel effortlessly, lift gargantuan monsters, and hold several hundred pounds at the end of a pivot point with no signs of effort. Blocking a casual strike from a semi-serious Sephiroth causes enough destructive force to render a master swordsman (capable of fighting Turks relatively easily, as she was a super soldier) to fall into a weakened state and retreat, as well as shatter the concrete floor beneath their feat.
  • Superhuman Durability - Sephiroth has been struck several times by fire magic capable of destroying large steel structures without showing any signs of physical harm. He has also been thrown through several floors of steel, and stood at point blank range for a wave of heat strong enough to melt the steel beneath him.
  • Superhuman Speed/Reflexes - Capable of blocking attacks from multiple sources effortlessly, as well as keep up with Cloud with zero difficulty. He can cover vast distances in a moments time both on foot and in flight.
  • Master Tactician - Sephiroth was capable of manipulating Shinra, Cloud's party, and pretty much everybody within the entire Final Fantasy franchise. Almost everybody became subject to his will at one time or another.
  • Genius Intelligence - Sephiroth was always a brilliant mind. He was capable of reading Hojo's entire library in a few weeks. After this, he falls into the lifestream and begins absorbing knowledge from there.
  • Phasing - Sephiroth can phase through solid objects, both in and out of flight.
  • Teleportation - Sephiroth can teleport both short range and long range distances, and has been known to do so in order to ambush his opponents.
  • Telepathy - Capable of reaching into a person's mind and trapping them, as well as other people, in that nightmare. He has done this feat once.
  • Illusion Casting - Capable of projecting illusions of individuals.
  • Telekinesis - Sephiroth was able to collapse an entire steel/concrete structure with the wave of his hand.
  • Weather Manipulation - Sephiroth was able to turn the weather from sunny, to a full on storm with the flick of his hand.
  • Rain Darkness - Sephiroth can make clouds of darkness rain from the sky in order to conceal himself and obstruct his opponents vision.
  • Soul Energy Absorption - Sephiroth can absorb the corrupt souls of individuals after they have passed, or just plain absorb soul energy in its raw form if he is exposed to it.
  • Natural Magic - Because of his extended time spent trapped within the lifestream, Sephiroth can cast most magic without the aid of materia.
  • Astral Projection - Upon death, Sephiroth may project himself into the afterlife and continue to exist as an individual. He may also do this when he is living, but must abandon his vessel to do so.
  • Conjuration - Sephiroth created the three Remnants of Sephiroth, with one of them (Kadaj) to act as his vessel when he returns (because Cloud's party destroyed him in FF7).
  • Long Ranged Attacks - Sephiroth is capable of cutting through several feet of steel from a distance with a single attack.
  • Weapon Materialization - Sephiroth can conjure the Masamune into his hands.
  • Flight - Sephiroth is capable of extremely fast self-sustained flight.

Vincent Valentine:

· Weapons: Cerberus, Death Penalty

· Armor: Standard Armor, Mystile (Increases user's defense)

· Accessories: Tetra Elemental (Absorbs all elemental based attacks)

· Materia: Shield, Barrier, Lightning, Ice, Heal, Restore

· Vehicles: Hoverboard

Abilities:

In his normal form

  • Superhuman Strength - Vincent can leap vast distances, and throw people and machinery several meters effortlessly.
  • Superhuman Durability - Vincent's durability is sufficient enough to survive energy blasts, and tank bullets with little to no harm. Capable of blocking a ranged slash attack from Weiss with his unarmored hand.
  • Superhuman Reflexes/Speed - Vincent is capable of deflecting gunfire from multiple sources with his hand. He is also capable of easily dodging gunfire from near point blank range.
  • Skilled Acrobat - Vincent's acrobatics are one of his most notable skills in combat. It makes him hard to predict, hard to hit, and is in general part of his character.
  • Immortality - Vincent doesn't age, and gets stronger as he ages, gaining new metamorphosis's.
  • Regeneration - Vincent is a natural regenerator as a result of the experiments performed on him.
  • Genius Intelligence - Vincent is a former member of the Turks, and is over 60 years old (though he's spent most of it sleeping). As a result, he is extremely wise, and very knowledgeable. He has shown to be able to understand most of the scientific and technological discussions thrown his way, and had more than just a mild understanding on how most things worked.
  • Superb Marksman - Vincent has zero issues tagging people who are regularly considered to be bullet timers+ in reaction time. Over and above this a single shot from Vincent is sufficient enough to blast through steel airships.
In Galiant Beast Form:

  • Enhanced Strength - Capable of ripping through steal constructs with little to no effort.
  • Enhanced Durability - Impervious to gun fire, and in general increases his durability.
  • Enhanced Regeneration - Upgrades his regeneration to a more noticeable level.
  • Fire Blasts - Capable of projecting powerful Fire Blasts at will.
In Chaos Form:

  • Enhanced Strength - Capable of throwing a canon so hard it impales through a person who is in general bullet proof. Break through Omega Weapon and enter it's body, and bypass it's shields (Shields in the game so far have proven to make somebody pretty much indestructible).
  • Enhanced Durability - Tanking strikes from the Omega Weapon, more than strong enough to take shots from bullets and weapons from soldiers without sustaining any harm.
  • Enhanced Speed - Capable of flying and moving at speeds faster than the eye can perceive.
  • Phasing - Capable of allowing lightning fast strikes to phase through him.
  • Flight/Levitation - Chaos almost never stands, he hovers a foot above the ground.

Cloud Strife:

· Weapons: Fusion Sword

· Armor: Escort Guard (Halves the effects of Fire, Cold, and Electric based attacks)

· Accessories: Sprint Shoes (Permanent: Haste)

· Materia: Restore, Heal, Fire, Lightning, Earth, and Barrier

· Vehicles: Fenrir

Abilities:

  • Superhuman Strength - Capable of overpowering Sephiroth, and Loz on occasion. Can leap vast distances, support the full weight of a human being on the end of his sword (while he is in a weakened state), etc.
  • Superhuman Durability - Take two shots of fire materia head on, take multiple stab wounds from Sephiroth and still remain both conscious and capable of fighting. Was able to fight off the effects of Geostigma while simultaneously taking on the Remanants of Sephiroth. Took blows from Loz without showing to much sign of strain.
  • Superhuman Speed/Reflexes - Capable of fending off multiple attacks moving faster than the eye can see. Capable of blocking multiple bullets fired at him from near point blank, and capable of deflecting them without actually looking.
  • Limit Breaks: As a battle progresses, Cloud gains his limit breaks. Each one is unique, and capable of a different effect. Everything from attack a person's soul directly, cutting through something previously thought to be indestructible, cone attacks, ranged beam attacks, and a few others.
  • Memory Mimicry: Cloud's training doesn't come from actual training. He has absorbed Zack Fair's entire SOLDIER career into his brain and therefore has all of Zack's training. It is said he has some of Sephiroth's training as well, and has some of Tifa's memories to boot. This is a result of his Jenova cells replicating other's memories to fill the gaps in his mind.
  • Flight/Levitation - Displayed on multiple occasions, Cloud is capable of self sustained Flight, just not on Sephiroth's level.
  • Astral Projection - Cloud is capable of exiting his body and entering a soul state.
  • Expert Biker: Capable of doing impossible turns, flipping his bike around, and performing acrobatics on his bike without it falling over. Fenrir is specially designed for him and his weapons.

Zack Fair

· Weapons: Buster Sword

· Armor: Force of Nature (Zack's attacks do Physical, Fire, Lightning, and Ice damage, and he absorbs Fire, Lightning, and Ice based attacks)

· Accessories: Ribbon (Immune to poisons, blind, and status effects)

· Materia: Wall, Regen, Firaga, Blizzaga, Haste

· Vehicles: Motorcycle

Abilities

  • Superhuman Strength - Zack is capable of leaping vast distances, cutting through steel with his SOLDIER sword (not the Buster Sword), physically overpowering Genesis, and launching multiple people several meters with a single swing of his sword.
  • Superhuman Durability - Took on the majority (according to the offical statements, he takes on almost the entire battalion sent at him...) of an entire module of shinra infantry, SOLDIER members, and snipers. And even though he was riddled with bullet holes, he still managed to survive for quite a time. He has also taken on several Summons (Bahamut, Bahamut Fury, Ifrit, and Minerva Enhanced Genesis), as well as several SOLDIERs (Angeal, Genesis, Sephiroth, and a bunch of SOLDIER second class members).
  • Superhuman Reflexes/Speed - Capable of dodging and deflecting gunfire with his sword from multiple sources. Cutting rockets in half, and taking on Genesis, and Sephiroth (in seperate battles of course).
  • Digital Mind Wave - Zack's mind is capable of replicating the limit breaks of others. This includes Sephiroth Octaslash, Chain Slash (his own), Rush Assault (Angeal), Healing Wave (Aerith Gainsborough), Meteor Shots (Cloud Strife), and lastly Apocalypse (Genesis Rhapsodos). He has two others, but they are considered non-cannon, as they are more about game mechanics than actual abilities.
  • Master Tactician - Took on an entire module of the Shinra army solo, fought Sephiroth, Genesis, and Angeal. Evaded Shinra's capture while pursuing Genesis, with a comatose party member to drag along, and on a crappy motorcycle with a cab.

Kadaj

· Weapons: Souba and Velvet Nightmare

· Armor: Escort Guard (Halves Damage from Fire/Cold/Electric)

· Accessories: Ribbon (Immune to Poisons, Blind, and Status Effects)

· Materia: Bahamut SIN, Fire, Lightning, Haste

· Vehicles: Motorcycle

Abilities

  • Superhuman Strength - Capable of leaping vast distances, and blocking attacks from Cloud.
  • Superhuman Durability - Tanking blasts from his own fire materia, falling from long distances, etc.
  • Superhuman Speed/Reflexes - Was able to dodge and deflect gunfire from Vincent Valentine. Was more than capable of both blocking Cloud, and on one (maybe two) occasions disarming him. He was also able to do this with one hand preoccupied holding his mother's severed head (....yeah....)
  • Acrobat - Extremely skilled acrobat, I can provide video evidence of such if needed.
  • Intangibility - Can enter a black mist form to allow physical attacks to phase through him, as well as enter areas undetected using this.
  • Monster Summoning - Can summon Shadow Creeps from the negative lifestream.
  • Weapon Master: Decent shot with a gun, nothing spectacular. However, with his Souba he was shown capable of disarming Cloud, a very impressive feat.

Weiss the Immaculate Emperor

· Weapons: Heaven and Earth

· Armor: None

· Accessory: None

· Materia: Shield

· Vehicle: None

Abilities

  • Superhuman Strength - Able to throw Vincent and Azul around like playthings. He is considered the strongest of the Tsviets.
  • Superhuman Durability - Tanked a blow from Death Penalty while Vincent was in Chaos form, without taking any damage.
  • Superhuman Reflexes - Was able to dodge Vincent's shots while Vincent was moving at speeds faster than the eye can see. The two of them were effortlessly blocking one another. Was also able to take on Rosso the Crimson and Azul the Cerulean in their empowered forms effortlessly, and as he stated, while he was handicapped.
  • Superhuman Speed - Same as above, plus was able to move at speeds faster than the eye can see.
  • Acrobat - Flips, spins, dodges, etc. All at superhuman speeds.
  • Machine Gun - Has ranged attacks with swords (as they are gun swords)
  • Ranged Strike Attacks - Similar to Sephiroth
  • Dark Orb Attacks - About as powerful as a frag grenade, throws three at at ime.
  • Soul Energy Absorption - Capable of absorbing soul energy in order to empower himself.

Nero the Sable

· Weapons: Nero's Gun(s) x4, Wings

· Armor: Standard Armor

· Accessories: None

· Materia: Shield

· Vehicles: None

Abilities

  • Superhuman Strength - Stated to be enhanced beyond the levels of SOLDIER, so above Zack's level.
  • Superhuman Durability - Can effortlessly block attacks from Shelke, and take shots from Vincent without sustaining much damage.
  • Superhuman Speed - Capable of dodging blows from Shelke and Vincent without much effort.
  • Superhuman Reflexes - Same as above
  • Darkness Manipulation - Can manipulate the darkness around him.
  • Darkness Teleportation - Can teleport within and around darkness.
  • Soul Absorption- Can absorb the souls of his opponents and permanently trap them within himself (aka, the Darkness within him)
  • Mind Racking - Getting too close to Nero can result in one's mind being assaulted with all of their worst memories.
  • Telekinesis - Can move objects with his mind.
  • Flight - Capable of flight, but nowhere near Sephiroth/Genesis level, moreso on Cloud's level of basic levitation and some movement.
  • Weapon Summoning - Can summon his guns at will and fire them simultaneously (up to 4)
  • Dark Orbs - More powerful than his brothers, but they are not as fast, and are homing.
  • Wing Attacks - His most powerful attacks are from up close, though he general avoids a melee confrontation.

Genesis Rhapsodos

  • Weapon: Genesis's Rapier
  • Armor: Standard Armor
  • Accessories: Ribbon (Immune to Poisons, Blind, and all status effects)
  • Materia: Firaga, Regen, Wall, Bahamut Fury, Ifrit, Bahamut
  • Vehicles: None
Abilities
  • Superhuman Strength - Capable of keeping up with Sephiroth, overpower Zack, and easily lift and carry Weiss (nor overly superhuman of a feat, but I thought I'd add it...)
  • Superhuman Durability - Blocking attacks from Sephiroth, surviving blows from Zack, surviving his own fire waves, etc.
  • Superhuman Speed - Capable of keeping up with Sephiroth and Zack. Capable of flight speeds relatively on par with Sephiroth's level.
  • Superhuman Reflexes - Same as above
  • Apocalypse - Genesis's limit break, an extremely powerful and potent ranged attack with powerful AoE.
  • Fire Nova - Creates not only an extremely powerful wave of fire, but also creates a massive shockwave, capable of collapsing massive stalactites and stalagmites.
  • Fire Magic Abilities - Create multiple fireballs, capable of destroying steel constructs, and commanding their movement to his will. Also capable of empowering his sword with extremely powerful fire magic.
  • Energy Absorption - Capable of absorbing electrical energy in order to regenerate himself (the absorption of which awakens him from the stasis he put himself in)
  • Water Bubble - Sealed himself within a giant water bubble to hold him until he was needed again.
  • Flight - About on par with Sephiroth.

Summons:

These are the summons whom you actually have to fight and defeat in Crisis Core, and they fight in Advent Children. I won't use the others because there is nothing to suggest that you can do more than summon them for a one shot attack.

Bahamut:

  • Speed - Capable of keeping up with a speeding Fenrir

@Floopay: Boy oh boy. Thats a list of feats.

How do you do the Spoiler anyway? As long as I been here I not a clue.

#6 Posted by Floopay (5631 posts) - 8 months, 1 day ago - Show Bio

@CadenceV2: In the top right corner of the post box, hit the "More" button, it is the one labeled "Spoiler Block" Just select what you want to put in it, and hit the Spoiler Block button and it'll put it into the spoiler block. If you need me to source feats just ask. I'll source some of the less popular characters when we start actually debating. I'm sure you'll have a hard time finding Nero and Weiss feats for sure, as they are hard to find in general if you don't know which cut scenes to look for.

I think the hardest thing for you to contend with is the Soul and Energy absorption from Genesis, Nero, Weiss, and Sephiroth....but we'll see.

@CadenceV2:

Tsviets: The Tsviets were a continuation of Project G, the same Project that produced Genesis.

The Background on Nero and Weiss

Some more on Weiss:

Weiss continued: This is after he finishes pummeling your character like a little #$%^ (The little girl is the one I didn't want to use, she's a little overpowered against your team. Her name is Shelke and her power is pretty much complete control over Power suits...as well as more than a few other things, but yeah...)

Whoops! Forgot to tell you, he has self duplication. Notice at one point he creates 3 of himself.

Everyone bound by this Restrictor guy is pretty much left in complete stasis when they are hit by his paralyze attack, and are forced to follow his command. Weiss is so powerful, however, that he is able to resist this to some degree. I want you to notice how he gets hit by this attack multiple times, and though it prevents him from attacking the restrictor, it's pretty obvious that it's barely effective on him.

Weiss battle. Pay attention to how fast he's moving, how he has no care for the fact that he's being shot (this is gameplay, but the feats are there to show off his strength), his use of shield materia (he creates a little circle in front of him that blocks all damage), his dark orbs, and the huge shockwaves he creates with his sword. You can also see him rally off machine gun fire with his gunblades.

Now then, we know how powerful Weiss's attack are at this point. So now I want you to pay attention as to how Vincent can tank a few shots from Weiss in this scene. He uses his dark orb abilities, his ranged slash, shockwaves, and his machine gun fire with his swords. He also uses his shields a few times in this scene. The little circle that appears in front of him to stop gunfire in battle, that's shield materia. He also spins his sword in front of him in a similar manner to block bullets and oncoming attacks as well, you'll see that in a moment.

After this him and Nero combine together. However, the two don't really unleash their power until he transforms into his Omega form, which we won't be using here. This is him prior to the full transformation, while Omega is still coming to life (at the end of the video, you'll see what I'm talking about). He tanks a shot from a Chaos transformed Vincent (and it clearly hits him, he does not dodge that), and then we can see Vincent phase through an attack so fast we don't even see him make it. This is the full power of the two.

Some more on Nero

Nero: I was short a few souls and came to collect.

Shelke: What did you do with the crew?

Nero: My mission, is complete

Shelke: Oh....

Things to pay attention to: He consumes the souls of the entire crew. He got there via teleportation. He tanks a few shots from Shelke. Shelke's use of shield materia to block his gun fire. Also, he dodges Shelke pretty handily, if you notice she is clearly superhuman in speed as she runs down there.

Nero absorbs Vincent. As you can see, Shield Materia is powerful enough to protect Shelke from the Darkness, though it it slowly but surely consuming her shield (which may be because of her power limit). Vincent is immune to it's effects, because him and Nero are essentially composed of the same darkness from the lifestream, except Vincent's portion contains Chaos.

More of Nero. Just a moment in his darkness was enough to drive Yuffie pretty insane, and leave her pretty useless. If it were not for Vincent, she'd be done for. He then consumes Vincent into the darkness and faces him again. As Archnonero, he's pretty powerful, Gorgonero is actually weaker than his regular form.

Nero in his regular form vs. Vincent. Jump to about 8 minutes in. He wields 4 guns simultaneously, and he is teleporting, and replicating himself.

Whoops! Forgot, Nero can also replicate himself.

Some more on Genesis Rhapsodos

Sephiroth vs. Genesis. You've probably seen it more than a few times, but anyway.

1:45 - Melts the steel beneath Sephiroth's feet, notice those are clearly lines from it melting, not just a shockwave.

3:10 - Notice the exploding structures along the tower, most likely from use of magic.

Genesis uses Apocalypse, his limit break.

Genesis Rises. He sealed himself down there, and into that water bubble. He absorbs the energy output from Weiss to awaken himself. This is live action, and 100% cannon.

Jump to 4:00, Genesis summons Bahamut, at some point you'll notice Bahamut just sort of falls to pieces. That's because the cutscene skips the battle between it and Zack, it doesn't just appear and die :P. That's Bahamut Fury

Genesis is picked up by the Tsviets at 2:45

We'll touch up more on Genesis later, but those 3 are good enough for now. Now then, onto!

@CadenceV2:

More for Zack: Watch the first 6 minutes or so, he takes on a platoon of SOLDIER members with no weapon... This is especially important to watch for his dodging speed.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to add one more thing!

IFRIT

If you watch the whole thing you'll notice they make more than a few more inconsistencies, but nothing major. However, many good feats for Cloud/Zack in that anime short.

Just way too much power to considered.

@Floopay: Yet some of my guys have no Souls to devoure. Ahriman, Kharn, and Lucius Souls are with there chaos God. Karandras Souls is bound to the Armours Matrix with the rest, a fact that it cant be soul suked easy as many Slaanesh Daemons do that to Eldar automaticly and Karandras (as any Exarch) souls are safe thanks to the Matrix. The Burias Souls is half in the warp and half in the real along with the Daemon.

So really only Huron (debatable as he is surrounded by many Soul Devouring allies who like to have his position) may have a weakness yet the Haymadra could protect him. M'Shen be a gonner, as would maybe Marduk unless he Soul Projected and fought back on his terms.

Some Vids of a Chaos Lords power. Ahriman be alot like this as would Marduk.

4 SMs vs a World invaded by Orks!

Commander Titus with Iron Halo and Power Armour survives the fall and Explosian after beating the Daemon Prince.

Marduk, Ahriman, Huron, and Lucius have the Rechargable Iron Halo like shields. Well Huron has a Luck factor that plays in it as well a Iron Halo.

epic encounter :)

#29 Posted by Floopay (5631 posts) - 7 months, 29 days ago - Show Bio

@CadenceV2:

Lets do this thing! Took me forever to find this video btw, it's the battle between Cloud and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Complete. This has the extra scene where Cloud still fights even after being stabbed half to death...

My opening tactic.

  • As I normally start each battle. Sephiroth will change the weather to create a storm. And rain darkness over the battlefield
  • While he's doing this, Kadaj will summon swarms of shadow creeps, and Genesis will summon Ifrit and Bahamut.
  • While they are doing that, the remaining party members will be buffing my party with Wall (those who don't have it), Regen (via Restore and Regen materia), Resist and (which will grant huge resistance against all status effects, this is cast via Heal materia.).

The Charge

  • Once this is complete, Vincent will take his hoverboard to the sky, and start an aerial charge from above with Sephiroth, Nero, and Genesis.
  • Sephiroth will rain darkness across the battle field, and Nero will extend his darkness as far as possible.
  • Weiss will charge at full speed (which is pretty dang fast as you saw...), Cloud, Kadaj, and Zack will charge in on their motorcycles.
  • I assume you will have your summons up at this point. Genesis will rain swarms of Firaga blasts down on your summons, while Sephiroth collapses the battlefield down around everything. Vincent will be laying heavy gunfire and various magics around across the battlefield (on your team and your summons), and Nero will be absorbing as many souls from your daemons as he can possibly handle, while simultaneously laying on heavy gunfire with all four of his weapons. Between these tactics he will be launching his dark orbs down to cause some extra havoc.
  • Cloud, Zack, and Kadaj will arrive first on their bikes, that's fine, it's what I accounted for. They will be using their materia and maneuvering around as much as possible to take down any and all summons, and keep your guys off guard. Remember, my summons will also be there, and they'll be a heck of a thing to ignore.
  • I'm guessing during this phase, your team will probably want to take down Ifrit or Bahamut, otherwise you'll have a lot to deal with and this would be game. Once Bahamut goes down, Bahamut Fury will go up.

The Battle!

  • Now my team and yours should be ready to face each other!
  • Sephiroth will rain darkness again, and Nero will send his wisps out and extend his darkness as far as possible. Anyone on your team who is weak to telepathy should be momentarily impaired by just being touched form his darkness, I think your team is strong enough to overcome this in a few passing moments though. Nero will also create his clones, so there will be 3 of him on the battlefield with 4 guns each. The main version of him will be shooting out dark orbs on occasion, and they should all be teleporting around. Whenever he is down to a single form, he will take a heavy teleportation/hide in the darkness tactic until he can create his clones again. Vincent will be laying heavy gunfire down on your team. Now you have tank level armor, so he shouldn't be able to fully pierce it unless he hits a soft spot. I do think, however, that he will definitely wreak more than a little havoc on your armor and it's functions the longer he keeps up his shots. Genesis will empower his blade, and lay on waves of novas, fire blasts, and melee strikes. You may be immune to the fire itself, but as seen in Advent Children, and in the secret ending of Crisis Core, these things give out one heck of a concussive blast after they go off, this should be more than capable of throwing your team off.
  • Cloud, and Zack will stay on their bikes for as long as possible, dodging gunfire, laying on some materia blasts, and attempting to get close enough for a strike. Eventually, they are gonna either be taken off their bikes, or they will have to get off to close in. Both are verified Bullet Timers against multiple forces. Once they are off their bikes, Sephiroth will come in and join the melee battle.
  • Kadaj will get off his bike. He is skilled at disarming, a feat I could use. His black mist ability will also give him more than a little bit of an edge when evading attacks from your team.
  • Weiss will join the battle by now. He's going to be one of the hardest ones for your team to deal with! He will instantly split into 3. Each one as powerful as he himself. His shockwaves alone should be enough to force your characters to fight melee and abandon all range, save for maybe your magic users.
  • Once Weiss is in, I'm thinking Bahamut Fury will be taken care of. So here comes the biggun! Bahamut SIN! He will be assigned to taking out whoever isn't in melee combat, and if that's not applicable, my team will use him to stop anyone from retreating from the battle field.

The Extended Battle

  • As already stated, the longer the battle goes on, the more worn your armor is going to get from Vincent. However, once Vincent becomes threatened by your team, or once your team has too many people in melee (3 Weisses, 3 Neroes, Genesis, Kadaj, Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth), Vincent will have no choice but to go Chaos form. Death Penalty is magnitudes more powerful than Cerberus, especially in the hands of Chaos.
  • Numbers are my biggest advantage, combined with the immense speed and reflexes my team has. Your team probably has me in durability and strength though, but I can still cut things off, and regenerate and restore my team members. As well as cure poisons and status effects. As well as some characters with immunities to them.
  • However, your biggest issue will be dealing with the copious amounts of limit breaks that will occur as the battle goes on. Whether it's Cloud's beams, ridiculous slashes, and Omni-Slash, Zack's digital mind wave, or Genesis using Apocalypse, it's going to be a problem.

Team Breakdowns:

Now then, it seems like the Marines (with the exception of your stealth person, take a similar approach to what my guys generally do, and that's head on combat. As much as I'd like to say otherwise, my team will probably take a similar approach, though as trained as they are, they are more than capable espionage and stealth, I will go by what seems in character.

My biggest advantages are speed/reflexes, which from what I've seen are more than a little above your teams, numbers (as two members of my team can multiply themselves, I have summons, and those shadow creeps), and almost complete battlefield control. I also have haste materia, which allows the control of time for oneself, this should give me what I need to counter time magic. Flight is another big advantage I have, as I have four flyers, and one levitator, as well as someone who can mist around, and a couple teleporters. To me I have the maneuverability advantage, especially with the motorcycles, hover boards, and self sustained flying.

I think our teams are tied in training. Both teams seem to have everyone one the level of "master" at what they do. Fire power is about the same for both teams as well, but our strengths are in different areas in this capacity.

Your team has the durability advantage, I wont' deny that. I think though striking power is the same, your team has this in strength (with the exception of Chaos form Vincent, and Sephiroth). Though I shouldn't have to say it, your team has this in experience. Our training is the same, and my team obviously is very well versed at what they do, and they have gone up against a huge variety opponents (including many with similar powers to yours), and has a huge variety of skills they've played around with. However, none of that really can compare to the difference of a decade of experience or more, against a few centuries or in some cases millenia of experience. I just wanna make sure you know that I acknowledge this.

Darkness and Cover: I don't know how Power Suits work as far as sensors are concerned. I believe you have them, as a couple members on your team are capable of concealing themselves against sensors. So my use of darkness is to moreso force your team to rely on their sensors instead of their eyes, which is going to be a disadvantage when dealing with people who move at the speeds my team moves. However, I do not think this is an end all disadvantage, just to clarify.

@Floopay: .............. Oh its on Floopay, its on...............

My opening tactic.

  • As any opener with Ahriman he will begin the Ward Traps that will open a Warp Rift.
  • Marduk will use his Soul Projection to sour high and Target your guys from the get go.

The Wait

  • My guys knowing exactly where you are will use the collected Millenium of Warfare knowledge to dig in and propel any attack from a secure location. With Ahrimans Wards and and Karandras Shadow Ability I should have Defense from any fatal blows.

The Battle!

  • Epic battle... at first. Then a Sluaghter for me.
  • I can wait here till my Wards for summoning kick in. Then with Marduk added to it I can begin the Summoning of Endless Daemons.
  • Once the Warp Rift opens I will push foward among the masses of Chaos Daemons and target you.

The Extended Battle

  • As the battle goes on my guys will remain unfatigue and more importantly more conected with the warp. Proven fact from many many pages of 40K I have that more Chaos Gods take notice and pour more power to the followers like Kharn, Lucius, Ahriman, Huron, and Marduk. I will only increase in power and resources.
  • Numbers are my BIGGEST Advantage. As shown Daemons cannot be stopped and with Ahrimans help overcome the World. I have Daemons and Greater Daemons of Khorn, Nurgle, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh!!!
  • My Advantage will be Cannon Fodder and Greater Daemons leading there power to mine. Limit Breaks galore is no more damaging than Titans unleashing Cirt Destroying attacks that my Daemons will simply come back from.

Team Breakdowns:

I have little to add. Haste will keep up with Warp Time. You have general faster Reflexes and Speed. I have durability. We both have unique abailities to bring to the table.I think the biggest adavantage here for me is Lesser Daemons and Greater Daemons I can summon anywhere.

Marduk willingly Summons Blood Letters (Sacred number 8 of Khorn) from 8 dead comrads. Second one is Slaanesh taking a personal intrest and has him spew a pink mist that summons infinit Daemonnets!

Hers a short story of Ahriman setting up Warp Rift Ward Traps that ended up taking out a world and 300 Space Marines.

This is a Blood Thirsters Armour Alone. It kills a armies worth with a Blood storm Attack (rips your blood from you body in a whirl wind of Gore) and then Cuts through Dimensions.

Here the Same Blood Thirster this armour belongs to called Heart of the Blood fights a Daemon Prince, Wrecks a couple Miles worth of Fortess Castle Mountain, and then over a few thousand Space Marine Army with Daemon Engines! One BT.

Im summoning at least 1 greater daemon and each Greater Daemon is a Bahamut in itself.

All the Common Lesser and 4 Greater Daemons (Blood Thirster, Lord of Change, Great Unclean One, Keeper of Secrets) that will be more than a match for your whole team as well.

Blood Thirsters are Huge beast and kill Avatars of Khain (Walking Lava Gods of Murder and War) more often than not. A Great Unlcean One just killing SMs with ease. Then the ease of Summoning through warp rufts with Chaos Lords. I have 4 on my team and Ahriman (the Sorceror) is the best of them at Summoning.

Darkness and Cover:

I to have Darkness from Karandras who can move about the battlefield relitivly easy. Also you are coreect in SMs being uneffected by Darkness all together as 2 Organs (the Occulobe and Lymans Ear) allow sight in low light as clear as day and filter out specific sounds with increaseHearing. Huron Eye sensore is also use to this. As is Karandras who fights in darkness. Burias Daemon Sight is unaffected. Marduk, Kharn, and Ahriman Helms have Prey Sight (for complete darkness), M'shen Eye Implants also allow sight in blackness. Also Cover works for me as my guys make regular use of it and have weapons or abilities that ignore Cover.

@CadenceV2:

I can't start a proper rebuttal until I have a few questions answered.

  • Where exactly are Daemons summoned from. Is it an afterlife, directly from the warp, or how does that work. Also, are the Wards and rifts made from warp energy?
  • What are the lesser daemons defense against direct soul attacks. Because in one of your original videos a horde of guys got owned by a single soul rending attack, is it safe to assume less daemons would have a similar weakness?

Daemons are summon from the warp which is a combination of Afterlife, Psychic Energy, and Opposit of the Universe. Its many things wrapped into one.

The Warp is a copy of the Physical Universe. Its the otherside o the same coin. However where th universe has Physics the warp is basicaly Imagination powered. Its the source of all energy and when you die your soul goes there fully but again everyone already kinda exist in the warp along with the physical unierse.

Basic Descriptions of Greater and Lesser Daemons.

This is a great definition of a Daemon. There a esence of the power of their Chaos God with a hint of personality. Like a Machine but instead of metal and circuits Daemons are made of Energy turned Flesh.

@Floopay: Also Ahrimans Wards can be anything like Sand made into sybols, or Blood Rituals, or Sacrifices, or Stone Carvings. It takes many forms but all backed by his Power to open. Then its the daemon rush that can only be closed by Psykers or Magic design to close it. Unless its a Warp Gate built then that can be destroyed.

Many many examples but Ahriman seems to describe using the Making of Wards via Symbol. Then only a Psyker or follow up Magic design to close the Rift is needed.

#34 Posted by Floopay (5631 posts) - 7 months, 28 days ago - Show Bio

@CadenceV2:

From the sounds of it, those Wards would be giant batteries for Sephiroth, which would increase his power level by a lot....I mean A LOT. And I don't mean just a little bit, those wards will be like throwing Quasar against a giant entity composed of pure energy. At some point your just asking for trouble...

Nero could also sap energy directly from those as well.

@Floopay: He could but will it be enough at that point?

Ass seen here it takes Minuets for a World to be overun. Also every Greater Daemon can Summon more from his own power with Dimension Ripping Attacks!

As I shown I the Heart of the Blood (Blood Thirster) can rend Time and space with his Sword. No one on Final Fanatsy ever face that kind of attacks or power. Shield or Barrier? I dont see any attack of Dimension ripping being stopped.

So if ya could stop the wards I already have a Worlds worth of Army with additional Summoners in Greater Daemons.

Also...

Ahriman Soul Rips from the Warp.

Marduk has the same power.

I can sit back in a base with these 2 alone and pick off half your team while the Lesser Daemons act cannon fodder and Greater Daemons (who surpass in power anyone on my team) fight ya. Your fighting not only my team but equally powerful 2 Greater Daemons. (I use 2 because it seems common for 2 Greater Daemons at a time for World level destruction, sometimes its Daemon Princes and Heralds leading the charge)

Also Attacks like these from Ahriman and Marduk will Instant kill half of your team who have no defense against it really.

#36 Posted by Floopay (5631 posts) - 7 months, 28 days ago - Show Bio

@CadenceV2:

I'm just saying that in a matter of moments Sephiroth would go from being already a pretty big threat, to a planet level threat. The more portals you open to the warp, the more Sephiroth should be able to feed off that energy, and the more powerful he'll become. It's already been proven he can become powerful enough to overtake an entire planet.

As far as lesser daemons go, they'll be yummy food for Nero.

The fact is, your team will have to either close those wards, or deal with a character with power beyond their imagination, because Sephiroth can, and will handle that much power and become something of a god.

Thanks for reading,

Floopay

@Floopay: Hoenstly Sephiroth wont get powerful for long. The more power he has the more he stands out in the warp. Perfect for his soul to be ripped out and duelled by Ahriman in the Warp. Ahriman currently is as powerful as his Primarch Magnus the Red and makes him a Planet Level Threat from the get go.

Also all of the magical Power of Seph means nothing to Kharn whos immune to any magical attack.

Could Teleport him or a Blood Thirster (Who also have Blessings of the Blood God) to Seph and Bamsky hes ended.

#38 Posted by Floopay (5631 posts) - 7 months, 28 days ago - Show Bio

@CadenceV2:

Most of Sephiroth's power doesn't come from magic, it's all raw physical power.

Sephiroth is in full control of his own soul, being capable of Astral Projection, and creating an entire disease within the lifestream while he was dead, a disease that plagued anyone who thought for even a moment they were going to die, and continued to kill them the more hope they lost. I'm just saying. Also, Nero will be plaguing your entire army, as they are caught within his darkness, meaning those who aren't absorbed better have some good telepathic resistance, or they will be doomed to being thrown into madness by coming into contact with Nero's darkness.

I'm just saying, pulling Sephiroth out of his body and into the Warp could prove more devastating than helpful.

Finally, shield materia does, in fact, have evidence of resistance against dimensional shift and attacks. Notice when Nero takes Shelke into the darkness, her shield protects her from being harmed by the attack, and then protects her from being fully absorbed into the darkness.

To be honest, as powerful as Sephiroth is, Weiss is going to be a rough one to deal with in melee combat. Seeing as he is fast enough to block a beam of light, and Chaos form Vincent who is about the same. Chaos also is the collector of souls and the harbinger of death. Death Penalty becomes increasingly more powerful the more corrupt souls he kills with it. I'm thinking those Daemons are slowly but surely going to be causing more harm than help to your team.

@Floopay: Well in that case I might lose handily. You have on your team 3 Planet killers in Sephiroth and Vincent, and sin Bahamut comapred to Ahriman who is my 1 and only.

Ill concede this as you have more powerful characters than what I brought. If I had God Emperor of Mankind and Primarchs I could win but Standard Marines fail in this clash of Powers.

#40 Posted by Floopay (5631 posts) - 7 months, 28 days ago - Show Bio

@CadenceV2:

Well, if your team is smart, which they are. They will use their summons sparingly...and not amplify my team to ridiculous proportions. With the Warp fully open, my strongest characters will feed, and feed off of it. However, if you summon something, rather than open the warp, then my team cannot feed eternally. Additionally, Nero doesn't get more powerful as he consumes souls, and Sephiroth takes a lot before he gets to any real level of super power, and Vincent requires the death of a corrupt soul to amplify his weapon's damage.

So my point is, Ahriman can summon an army, but in order to do so he has to put in the risk to power up my team significantly and slowly but surely, as you create more gateways and rifts to the warp, exponentially. However, summoning a few greater demons without creating full access to the warp, is what you will have to rely on. :P

Alright, that's fair. I hate to exploit Sephiroth's ability to harvest soul energy, but that's sort of what he does, so...in character he would turn those things into a giant feast.
