Flash thompson is the coolest and best venom and plus he has hand to hand fighting skills from his training in the army i got mad when he lost in the marvel street level tournament how did black panther beat him it should've been him and iron fist

Cap got owned there. However, Captain America could get flame weapons easily, but not so much with sonic weapons. I say Flash still wins, but not as much if Cap has prep time. (but if Cap has access to sonic weapons than it could go either way)

OP says Cap has prep, but it also dictates what he's armed with when the battle begins. It says he only has his shield, therefore I'm assuming prep doesn't mean he can bring additional equipment/weaponry when the battle begins.

As distasteful as I find "Rambo"-Venom, i'm pretty sure anyone wearing the Venom suit could beat Cap due to the massive physical advantages.
Whats so distasteful with Flash Venom?
3 reasons:
1. This is mainly just personal taste but I hate that look with all the pouches and guns slung over him. It reminds me of the "What if?" issue where Punisher got taken over by the symbiote. I didn't like a gunslinging Venom then and I still dislike him now.
2. The origin story is basically Hybrid's origin with a few tweaks (being bonded voluntarily for example). I would have expected a better beginning than simply recycling the origin story of another symbiote (and then killing said character no less lol).
3. Venom is no longer unique. We already have 3 Spider-themed hero's who have similar looks. why design the new Venom to add to the ranks of what is already a reasonably saturated style. they took away everything that made him different (bulkiness, teeth, tongue etc..) and simply turned him into black suit Spider-man with body armor and guns. if it ain't broke don't fix it!
