To be fair he never really understood how to use it it seem.

Team 2. SS can copy or absorb the speed force, and I'm not sure if Runner's speed can be stolen but if not he solos.

Runner toyed with....played with....humiliated Silver Surfer. Runner out ran him. Dodge every blast. Got on his board and brought SS to his knees in a physical confrontation while SS was amping his power. Then took SS out with one mind blast and threw SS unconscious to the planet below. Did I mention that Runner was not even mad when he did this? Galactus swallowed Runner along with other Elders of the Universe and Galactus couldn't digest them. We have seen Thanos react and hit SS. We have seen Thanos stop Mjolnir after it is thrown. Thanos couldn't even see the Runner.

Even without knowing how to use it, Runner was able to teleport just by thinking of where he wanted to be. Runner can also go intangible

Just because The Runner is an elder, doesn't mean that he is faster than Wally, Bart or Barry. He has beaten Silver Surfer before but it was out of sheer power and not speed.

Surfer's speed level is quite overrated as well. If not in space, Norrin can fly almost at the speed of light, which is incomparable to Wally West's speed.

So the Flash team would need to stay as far away from Juggernaut as they can.

It's funny. The fight between the Runner and The Surfer (in which Surfer was soundly beaten) was not a win for the Runner because of superior speed. They appeared to be on even footing in terms of combat speed. Englehart actually had the Runner outmuscle the Surfer. Yet, Surfer one shots Champion (without the power gem no less) with a bolt of the power cosmic in issue 1. While Englehart seemed to understand the aspect of speed as intricately tied to the Surfer's power set, I personally think he painted the Surfer as a bit of a pussy in terms of strength and the rest of his power set. Starlin did better and suprisingly, Ron Marz did a great job of returning the Surfer to his glory days (Stan Lee and John Buscema) in terms of power set.

Having said all that, The Runner with the space gem gave Thanos problems (until he used the time gem to return the Runner to an infant). Silver Surfer is typically pretty beastly in terms of power as is Juggernaut. I don't see The Runner and Surfer having a problem with the above listed DC speedsters. Juggsy, I think, stands frozen in time while the fight goes on around him. Only way Juggsy is a factor at all is if for some strange reason he is able to get ahold of one the Flashes.

I give it to team Marvel.

@Malevolent1: Juggs forcefield is how he is able to compete at all. It slows Momentum to a crawl around him and even cause attacks on him to bounce back. He can slow any of the Flashes down that get to near him to a stand still and even use said force field as a AoE attack of Crimson Cosmos Energy.

For the last time SS owns Flash in a race he is multiple times faster than the speed of light if you don't know him stop comparing him with Flash.Flash is the overrated here i mean millions trillions really now?

Cant really use the speed force on SS... Team 2 wins i think
