WWH Hulk is on a rampage in downtown New York. Civilians have been evacuated.

Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and Aquaman arrive to stop him. Hulk has already caused a lot of damage, so they are all aware of how strong he is and they do not underestimate him. They don't know anything else about him.

Flash, GL and Aquaman are all in character, and this is the New 52 version of all three.

Flash cannot Speed Steal, cannot trap Hulk in the speed force and cannot travel time.

Aquaman has his trident. The fight takes place several blocks away from the ocean. It's not too close but not too far, and the fight can go there.

Win by KO/Death. No BFR.

Who wins? And Why?

@shadowhuntr: Not Flash, but Hal can most likely, unless his constructs are still behaving like they did in JL War, he hasn't been half the GL he was since the reboot.

New-52? And you nerfed Flash so he doesn't stomp Hulk lol. Anyway Green Lantern throws him into space.

In character GL wouldn't do that. And I "nerfed" Flash because any doofus with a keyboard can just yell "SPEED STEAL" to make it an automatic win for Flash. Debates are supposed to be fun....

@thedailybagel: New 52 Hal solos? I understand if you include pre 52 feats as it is canon, but I think that the OP means new 52 only, who doesn't have the feats to solo.

@anjales: Thedaileybagel is one of the biggest Hulk fans on this site and even he's saying GL solos... Look I don't find it out of character at all for Hal to see all the destruction Hulk's done and decide to chuck him into space.

No he wouldn't because that would kill him, and Hal wouldn't do that. At least not at first glance. Hal has seen guys that have caused worst destruction and did not resort to killing. And what's to say that Hulk wouldn't just break out of whatever construct Hal makes up to throw him. Hal's constructs are strong, but it will take a lot of will power to hold WWH at base level. Hulk is likelier to get angry more (thus making him stronger) than Hal to focus his will strong enough to hold Hulk.

@anjales: Hulk can and has survived in space... So yeh Hal throws him into space. Plus you're right Hulk could break out of the constructs but Hal is much faster and operates faster than Hulk can handle and could get him into the air in a split second. Or if he uses his head he can just wait till Hulk jumps at him and then just uses Hulk's own momentum against him by pushing him further upwards into space. No construct to break out of there.

But Hal doesn't know that. And even if he did. What's to say that Hulk manages to find himself back on the battlefield more pissed off than before. That wouldn't necessarily incapacitate Hulk since he's still breathing. As long as Hulk is not incapacitated he's still not out.

All that in case he used his head, and let's face it. While Hal is pretty smart, he's not the kind to think things through before acting. Waiting for Hulk to jump on his is far from Hal's first plan.

@anjales: It would still be a battle filed removal victory. And... How will Hulk get back to earth if he's far away in space? He could use his momentum and weight to push himself back but that would take quite a while, enough time for Hal to forget about him.

You're still assuming that Hal would just do that. Again this is far from his first instinct to do in the battle, and Hal doesn't know that Hulk can breath in space. And since we're talking about "in character", Hal wouldn't "just forget" about a raging monster that can destroy a city. He needs to make sure he's down for the count. Win should be by KO/death. Didn't think that should be specified. Again, I stress, launching Hulk into space is not Hal's first battle decision.

New 52? I'd honestly back Hulk unless Hal can manage to BFR him. Still, his constructs are easily breakable by someone of WWHulk's strength. Hal is really their only shot. So either Hal solos or WWHulk.

@anjales: It should have been specified since BFR has always been a winning method on here unless said otherwise. Hal still solos regardless, he's far too versatile.

Honestly I'm still not convinced Hal would go that route. I've seen Hulk survive much worse stuff than what Jordan can dish out on his own that's why Arthur and Barry are there. Yes he's versatile but I don't see him having enough raw power to put Hulk down for the count on his own.
