S.H.I.E.L.D. has instructed Hulk to destroy Central City because it's the only way to fix the space time continuum and restore the balance of the two universes. Barry's job is protect the people of Central City and stop the Hulk. Match is won by K.O., immobilization, or death.
Can Flash prevent The Hulk from destroying Central City when the Hulk wants to destroy Central City?
Barry Allen wins this. Hulk may be stronger but he can't touch Flash. And if in case hulk catches the Flash, he can just phase out. Flash may have a hard time beating hulk though, but he can think of a way.
Hmm. Was thinking Flash myself but I honestly didn't expect for all of us to agree so easily. One of these days I'll create a battle that's evenly matched. And when I do, it'll be awesome.

Flash doesnt need an IMP to win this. If he gets going sufficiently fast, say 70% of lightspeed, the sheer force behind the blow is sending Hulk into orbit.....
Flash is potentially one of the most devastating characters in the DCU with the abilities the Speed Force grants him. Too bad his character is plauged with PIS/ CIS....
Flash has a ton of abilities that would disable Hulk and KO him. Things like creating a Vortex around Hulk that saps the area of Air which in turn makes Hulk pass out. Perhaps phasing right through him and squeezing his heart on the way, poking his eyes a few thousand times with some force to blind him for a bit. The list goes on.
If Flash wanted to kill himself and everyone on Earth, neigh the solar system and maybe the entire galaxy, he can run at light speed while vibrating and then suddenly stop, the effect would be the destruction of all matter around him due to an object moving at light speed in an atmosphere. The Earth would vaporize and the sonic blast would completely disintegrate everything. Would be much like a super nova. This is why Flash is my favorite DC character hehe, how many times could he have done this yet still found a way to avoid it.
New52 Barry Allen has some impressive feats. He's taking down Hulk in a second.
via BFR? he hasnt shown the ability to hurt class 100 people yet, he couldnt really hurt Grodd when they met. Not sure if things have change, havent read Flash 14 yet.
He is fast, wayyyyyyyyy too fast for hulk, can BFR if thats allowed, but cant knock him out, unless we are talking morals off (suck the oxygen out, vibrate and rip his heart, heck kick him in the nuts a 10,000 times a second, i am sure his nuts not has durable as his body :p )

Now you are over applying physics to something that hasnt been shown on comics. Flash pre new 52 showed IMP, no argument there, new 52 he hasnt.

He can, he has phased an entire aeroplane through a bridge, but i doubt he would do so in a morals on encounter? I mean, come on, what kind of monster do you think Barry Allen is taking people's brain out ??O_o

^Yes. It's able to KO Superman in one hit, and The Flash is capable of sprouting a thousand of these babies between seconds.
Out of curiosity, how does Flash not shatter every bone in his body in the process?

Does speed force make him indestructible (genuine question, I don't read Flash comics)? I don't understand how he can hit Superman hard enough to 1HKO him without killing himself on impact.

There is a whole lot of context involved when Barry killed Thwane, not to mention the endless weeping that was presented on the series, and did so as a last attempt to save his wife. How many times in pre flashpoit have you seen Barry kill people? Or even cut loose as he should. Given speedforce he could have done that to pretty much everyone he faces yet he doesnt.
I really dont see why Barry for one would take his heart out, not saying he cannot, but he totally doesnt do that in character.
