darkseids power comes from the old gods. there is no astro force, omega force, or god wave.

@allstarsuperman: Not sure why it sucks, he is much more powerful now, or at least written right. He blew up a planet in his origin issue.

So? His new origin and power source aren't really as good as they were before. Not everything is about power levels.

First Born can win, he easily took on Orion and Wonder Woman, and beat Ares.

But at the moment I believe feat wise

Darksied has a slight edge, (New-52)Darkseid easily took on a New-52 Justice League team which consisted of Superman, Flash, Hal Jordan, Wonder woman, Batman, Shazam.

While (New-52)Darksied with the Omega beams managed to KO new-52 Superman, they will not KO First Born, his body has endured being in the centre of the Earth for thousands of years, bearing in mind the Earth's core is 4500c; and he has easily withstood blows from Wonder Woman, Orion and Ares.

First Born can win....

But I think (New-52)Darkeid wins 5.5/10 due to his versatility, not just just Spamming the beams.

@kingant27 Darksied's Omega Beams have blown up planets. First Born hasn't shown that he can tank anything around that level

I think he will be able to survive it, however I doubt Darkseid will blow up the planet with him on it.

@kingant27 Enduring at the core of the Earth doesn't mean he can tank a planet busting attack.

He already did. He destroyed his home planet while he and Highfather were fighting.

@dondave: @frozen: I agree his power has been greatly boosted, and I forget about him and Highfather's fight, however I think First Born being a god more physically better than Orion and Wonder Woman is near if not planetary level Invuberability.

If Superman is considered Planet level, then First Birn definitely is.

@dondave: First Born isn't a planetary level of durability,but let's not underestimate it too. He have good durability feats as resist the heat from Earth's core and also tanked blast from Apollo,which is basically the power of the Sun. (I'm not saying FB wins).

First born can easily defect all the gods and Apollo’s light power didn't effect him (ww issue 28 ) . Highfather said that the end of the source in earth, it is first born. Highfather even said that he is scared. I think the first born should be the most powerful things in the universe

Half the gods that First Born took on were relatively featless and near the end of Azz's run, WW beat him.

I think DS's got this.

Just went back and read it, yes Highfather was afraid but the Greek Gods that the First Born son of Zeus wrecked need more feats. So ive gotta go with Darkseid.

Geoff johns said Darkseid and Anti Monitor are the two most powerful villains we've see in New 52.

Considering those things can't even kill a Kryptonian or get through Wonder Woman's defenses, I wouldn't say it was a certain.
